Julia was very helpful, responsive and gave us a warm welcome. The cottage is beautifully decorated with a comfy mattress, well equipped kitchen and super fresh and clean bathroom. The breakfast items and hot cross buns were a lovely touch thank you. It was a perfect stopover for our event and to visit Port Sunlight which was beautiful. Thank you for making us welcome!

Edd and Cat were brilliant hosts with fast and helpful responses when booking and during my stay. Their Guest House had everything I needed and more, and had such a cosy home-from-home feeling. The gated driveway meant my dog could enjoy the garden, and ample parking removed any stress for my commute each day. If I'm ever in the area again I will definitely book Edd and Cat's place!

Easily accessible by car to Liverpool and only a short drive to local amenities. Sandra was a great friendly host who gave clear helpful instructions on location of property and check in. Highly recommend and would love to stay again.

We have just returned from the most relaxing 2 nights here. Before we arrived we were sent really detailed instructions, lots of recommendations etc we were even offered the Saturday night at a reduced price if we wanted. When we arrived, we asked if there were any chairs for sitting out and Chris brought some straight round. Both Chris and Nina are lovely and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. On out last night we were offered late check out, which was really kind. The barn is lovely, has everything you need and really peaceful. We thought it was a perfect location, as you are in the countryside yet only 20 minutes from Chester. There are a couple of lovely pubs down the road, we drove to them so can't say how long to walk. The bed was super comfy but watch the towel rail as it gets really hot😂🙈. There are stairs to get into the accommodation, it's above a garage, so maybe not ideal for anyone with walking trouble. All in all a perfect weekend. 😍

Fabulous little Annex with everything you could need for a short stay. We booked this accommodation as it said it was close to the zoo and it was exactly that, a short little walk, so great for a day of not needing to use the car! The place was lovely and clean, and we would definitely return and use again!

Myself and my young son were looking for somewhere to stay after watching a football match at Old Trafford. Noor was responsive to questions prior to us attending and thanks to this and the clear instructions that were sent a few days before we were able to get into the property quickly and easily which was a relief after the M6 delayed our arrival by 2 hours! The biggest concern to me being on my own with my son was how safe I would feel walking back from the stadium late evening, fortunately I needn't have worried as the location is in a lovely area. The properly itself was lovely and clean and perfect for the 2 of us. I loved the fact there was WiFi and facilities to make a cup of tea in the morning. Lots of towels ans linen available and a really comfy bed! Without a doubt 5 stars and I wouldn't hesitate staying here again

I came slightly off my hiking route to stay at ‘The Shed’ - well worth it, I had the most incredible stay. Lisa, Michael, Arran and Bonnie (their adorable dog) were so welcoming and the space was immaculately clean and so cosy. They are the nicest hosts I’ve ever stayed with, they went above and beyond, offering me plasters, food and even a lift to a nearby town to accommodate me after my hike. I’m definitely planning on coming back. Thank you again!!
