Highly recommend this location, stayed in many parts of Northumberland but this is my fave-short drive to Holy Island-but right on Embleton bay! All major Northumberland attractions within a short car journey. House was a good size in a peaceful setting. The enclosed garden was a bonus. We stayed during the renovations, but were not bothered with the noise-hardly any noise during our stay.

This is our 3rd stay at Stewart cottage. It is perfect for us and allows us to go and meet our friends in Beadnell and Anwich. The house is so quiet and has everything you need to cook if you want to and great table to sit in the garden in the sunshine. Highly recommend and we will be back!

Fantastic few days away exploring the beautiful Northumberland coast with our young family and dog. The cottage was a perfect base - the cottage was really well equipped for adults and kids. The cottage has been beautifully refurbished to create a very homely and cosy feel. More spacious than some of the photos suggest! The linen was all top quality and having a secure garden was perfect for our dog. The outside seating area was a bonus and despite being a little chilly still got some good use. Ruth was an excellent host and provided lots of clear instructions on things to do / places to eat. I would definitely recommend this cottage as a great spot to explore the Northumberland coast. From the moment we booked, Anna made contact and was so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. All of the information we needed was sent to us in a timely manner and was clear and easy to understand. The accommodation was immaculate and combined both cosiness and luxury! A beautiful property in a fantastic location with very personal touches from Anna. we can't wait to return and would definitely recommend
