Monthly Rentals in Caye Chapel

If you are looking for gorgeous surroundings, incredible sunsets, and hammocks to curl up and read books, look no further! The accommodations had everything we needed and a very comfortable bed ( so important!), but what was a surprise were the common areas - so beautiful! We spent hours on the two deck areas enjoying birds, island breezes, sunrise, sunset and star gazing at night. Kolleen and Aldo couldn’t be more welcoming and accommodating. Lovely people, lovely stay;)

We loved our stay here! James’ place was a total oasis and we’re so glad to have found it. We’re already missing our slow starts by the dock and pool! The walk to the water taxi was 30 minutes along the beach and honestly not that bad but the headlamp as stated is a definite must. We highly recommend staying here especially if you want a bit of a break from town while still being able to experience it as well.

The one bedroom cabana was well equipped for a longer stay. It was comfortable and had easy access to the pool and deck, which are shred with 3 other cabanas. Our host, property manager and cleaner were all responsive and quick to fix any problems. A new bbq was added while we were there giving us a great way to prepare the fresh seafood found locally. The location is a short walk from the centre of the village, close enough for easy access to the many great restaurants and bars, but far enough out to avoid the bustle of the tourist area. Caye Caulker is a laid back community with a mix of locals, snowbirds and short term visitors. Beaches are a bit limited, but one soon finds a swimming hole that suits them. We would recommend Tropical Dreams to anyone looking for a good base from which to explore the island.

Amanda’s place was as described. Very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. It was walkable to all restaurants and the Split but far enough away from most of the noise. The wraparound porch was nice, with comfy outdoor furniture. Comfortable bed. Amanda was very responsive and friendly yet did not invade our privacy
