Holiday Homes in Catania

We were two Canadian couples staying for 5 nights (after visiting Milano/Genova), with a car that we rented at Catania airport. We arrivred at 9PM but our host Nando was communicating us and received us in person. Upon arrival, fridge had some complimentary sandwiches, juice drinks and snacks, and a delicious homemade cake. Lovely place, peaceful, spacious, additional to detail, comes as advertised. Beautiful 180 degree view, when sitting outside by the pool, and even from main salon/kitchen. Loved the bedrooms and in particular the high quality mattresses and sheets. Made good use of the washing machine as we had a lot of laundry from our first week in Italy. Nando was very thoughful and proactive in checking in on us and suggesting places to visit and eat at. Good location, about a 10-15 minute drive to Taormina parking and a short drive to get on highway to visit Mount Etna or Syracuse/Ortigia. We had a wonderful stay in Sicily, thank you Nando!

This place was perfect for my family and of great value. The view from the kitchen was spectacular even if there was overcast. My kids loved the place. It is near the hustle of Sorrento but provides a peaceful haven after a day of walking and exploring. If given the chance, we would come back again. Thank you again Alessia!

What a superb house to enjoy Amalfi. The views were spectacular and the garden was beautiful. The amenities were 1st class and look forward to returning.. The walk to the house was challenging but that is to be expected with a house situated in the hills, but if your reasonably fit it should not present a problem and the views are worth the effort

We had a great stay in Sorrento. The place was extremely clean and centrally located to shops and restaurants. The outdoor porch is wonderful and the hosts were very kind and responsive.

Damian and Corrada were really lovely hosts, they received us together with their son! They showed all around and gave us some Italian desserts ❤️ The apartment is really clean, it feels like staying in an hotel. We parked the car right in front on the apartment which was really convenient. The beach was less than 5 minute drive which was great. The only downside were a few noises early in the morning. Other than that it was a great stay!

Very nice location, in the hilly countryside. Very quiet environment. Spacious house, very nice, nicely renovated. Several terraces and a beautiful pool. It was really was a very pleasant stay, especially since we were lucky enough to be alone. Close to the beautiful cities of Martina Franca and Ostuni. The hosts were very welcoming, friendly and responsive.

What a beautiful place. It’s like staying in the movie “Under the Tuscan Sun”, but in Sorrento! the walk is not so bad, we really enjoyed it. I will say that if the Olives have fallen and it rains the road turns slick with Olive oil. So do not take your grandmother down the road. the Taxi back is easy. just go to the taxi stand. The views from the house are better than the photos! Manuela is very attentive and answers very quickly. I would absolutely stay their again. the kitchen was so beautiful and we enjoyed a cooked pasta meal there. Definitely book here if you want a quiet nights, but close to the town. you can easily park two cars! there is fresh herbs in the garden too…. i could keep going…. it was amazing!

Alessandra's place is lovely - very bright, colourful and authentic. The balcony to the front of the house has a great view of the sea and the garden to the back of the house is very pretty and spacious. The building is on a main road but we didn't see or hear many cars at all so it felt peaceful. The kitchen was extremely well equipped/stocked for an Airbnb. Santa Maria di Castellabate is also a lovely little town, as is the hilltop village of Castellabate. We would highly recommend staying at Alessandra's apartment.

It’s a lovely and cozy cabin, modern furnished. Well fitted, has everything you need, and it’s much bigger actually than it looks on the pictures. It’s perfect for a couple. AC worked great for cooling and heating, mattress is comfortable, we got a really nice rest and sleep as the area is very quiet and peaceful. The garden is a fairytale, spacious and so well maintained with breathtaking views. As we were visiting off season for us Raitano was a bit too peaceful, so we were driving every day. For the first time it is a bit challenging to drive up to Carmen’s place, the path is very narrow and steep, but later on I found it as a part of authentic Italian driving experience. Needless to say, Carmen is a great host. She provided us all the instructions beforehand, she even advised us what car not to take when in Italy- big thanks! Bottle of Prosecco was a nice welcome gesture too. Sorry again Carmen that I broke your glass, thank you so much for your hospitality.

There aren’t enough words to describe how wonderful of a stay we’ve had at Angela’s. She and her family (hello Ovidio, Rosa, Lina, Tigro, Ruga, Kiki, Etna, and Ciccio!) are some of the kindest and most welcoming people we’ve come across. The house is absolutely gorgeous and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect and peaceful place. But there was more to this stay than just the house and views. We truly felt apart of their family, so open and loving. If you plan to stay here, please get to know Angela and her family. We have made long lasting friendships and memories, from boat rides to family dinners. Angela, you will forever be apart of our hearts (and Ossi’s 😉). We will surely keep in touch, and be back for a stay with Angela at the soonest possible time. WE LOVE YOU ALL! ❤️

The apartment is very spacious, extremely clean, with attention to detail and equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay. The bathroom is spacious with an exceptional shower, the living room/kitchen is well equipped and the bedroom is very bright. Complete a small garden with a relaxing and rocking area with a sea view. Sebastiano and his brother were more than hospitable, allowing us to check in late in the evening despite the very poor notice and welcoming us with a very nice bottle of wine and sweets in the area; always ready to provide useful advice and all the support requested. The accommodation is located in a very quiet area a few steps from the pretty seafront of Aci Trezza, in a strategic position to visit renowned towns: Etna, Taormina, Alcantara gorges less than an hour away

Very nice location in a quiet area of Monopoli from where you can reach the city center in 5-10 minutes by foot. Great vacation home.

Loved staying here. We were greeted with complementary pizza and Prosecco and towards the end of our stay we were surprised by a gift of local panzarotti. A lovely touch! A car is necessary as the accommodation is out of town, but there are lots of interesting places to visit within striking distance.

The property was fully stocked with any and everything you could need, the cleanliness was superb, the view of the sea was beautiful and the property was ideally located between the ferry and the train station so both locations were a walkable distance from the property and last but not least Nataliya the host is very friendly and very helpful with questions regarding the property and even recommendations. I was very impressed by her attention and quick response time. I highly recommended the property if you are a couple travelling from Malta and visiting neighbouring cities to Pozzallo

We loved Giuseppe's house in Pompeii. Well located. Very beautiful and clean. With exemplary layout and multiple amenities. We also appreciated the quality of the appliances and amenities. It was a nice surprise.

It was our first vacation in Cilento. The location of the property is perfect for moving both north and south. The area is quiet. The apartment, recently built, reflects the description and photos of the listing. Mrs. Pamela is very kind and helpful. We felt welcomed

I think at the base of every trip there should be a comfortable nest to come in and feel as good as when you come home. I thank Ornella for her availability, friendliness,politeness and kindness. We'll be back.

lovely place, had everything you need and it was super clean. close to pompeii and there's a shutter bus right down the road to other places. there's also a super good and cheap pizza place right down the road called la fiamma.

Why stay at Nicola’s place? The better question is—why not? Appartamento Eclettico is a spacious and inviting home, thoughtfully decorated with unique travel artifacts that spark curiosity at every turn. From the moment you step inside, you're surrounded by comfort, character, and charm. The apartment features a stunning view, a large bedroom with plenty of space to unpack belongings, a fully equipped kitchen perfect for home-cooked meals, and two beautiful and clean bathrooms. You’ll also have access to a washing machine and a well-stocked library. I was warmly greeted by Gianluca, who made me feel very welcome. Both he and Nicola checked in to make sure everything was okay and were highly responsive to my questions. Perfectly situated just steps from the Lungomare and within easy walking distance to restaurants and tourist hot-spots, I highly recommend Appartamento Eclettico. This will be the place I stay if or when (hopefully) I return to beautiful Bari!

If you didn’t know Stefano was an architect, you’d know a few minutes after being inside his beautiful house. The attention to detail, usability, and quality of renovation on this historic structure was exceptional. The home has everything you need. For example, we traveled across Italy for 2 months and this was the only home with a clothes dryer we found. The location of the home is perfect both for strolling the historic center of Locorotondo and for excursions to the many local attractions like Alberobello, etc. Try to plan your visit to include the weekly Friday morning market which is just outside your door. Stefano was an unbelievable host. We had a rental car breakdown and he picked us up late at night in the countryside when no taxis were available. We were so appreciative to know he had our back in an emergency situation when we didn’t speak Italian. A huge thank you to Stefano for sharing his lovely home and going above and beyond for his guests.
