We had let Beke know what time we will be arriving. Beke was immediately on site upon our arrival and showed us around and explained everything in the cottage. She also asked directly for our wishes during our stay to give us appropriate recommendations and tips. The apartment was very cozy, equipped with everything, so we felt very comfortable. We enjoyed the time very much, looked at Haarlem and Hoorn - highly recommended - and otherwise took several hikes in the dune landscapes. Numerous recommended restaurants are nearby - including the beach restaurants. Thank you to Beke, for the successful stay in Bakkum. Antje & Horst

“We had a wonderful stay at this great apartment! The decor is tasteful and cozy, the bed extremely comfortable – we slept excellently. Especially the sauna was a real highlight and provided pure relaxation. The location is ideal, close to the dunes, and the sea is quickly accessible by bike. Perfect for nature and beach lovers! The kitchen is fully equipped and left nothing to be desired, so we could cook without any problems. We felt completely comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Especially the sauna and the proximity to nature make this place unique. We will definitely be back! Absolutely recommend!"

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy and modern cabin over New Year’s! The interior was beautifully designed, clean, and welcoming. The beach was less than 4km away, so walking there is definitely an option, though there’s also parking available at the beach for a fee. John, the host, was fantastic—super friendly, quick to respond to our messages, and even allowed us to check in a few hours early, which we really appreciated. Overall, a fantastic experience, and we’d absolutely recommend this gem of a cabin!
