Monthly Rentals in Carter County

Stayed here for a week , had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Place is quiet with no neighbors and a small stream across the street . There is a cool old confederate era cemetery located a few hundred yards behind the house that the owner Danial gave us permission to go check out . Danial stopped by to introduce himself and make sure we had everything we needed . Donna who runs the Airbnb page for him was also very friendly and helpful and gave us some local food recommendations. This was perfect for us to fish the Watauga and about 25 minute drive to head up to fish the south Holston river . Hopefully we can stay here when we return to fish the area again .

Beautiful scenery and wonderful amenities! Instructions were clear and simple for check in and check out. I enjoyed the ping pong table. The cows and animals were an amazing addition to th beautiful surroundings.

This stay was absolutely the best space we have ever stayed at! The little house was very unique! It had old and new mixed together!! Tim, Michael and Buddy (their dog) were gracious hosts! Very accommodating and informative. Enjoyed our visit immensely!

2nd stay here, even better than the first (mostly attributed to the light snowfall and deer sightings outside our window). Amazing place we look forward to visiting again and again. Easy drive to JC, Bristol, Lake Wautaga etc. Got to meet Curtis and Desi this time (while lingering near the Donkeys) and they couldn’t have been nicer or more receptive. 10/10
