Lovely stay at this gorgeous property. June was very helpful and accommodating. Beds super comfy and wood burning stove and added bonus. Would love to stay again

Timothy and Michelle are wonderful hosts. For full transparency we booked this as we were moving across the country (extremely stressful) and were not 100% certain we'd get our keys on the day. Timothy and Michelle bent over backwards to accomodate us at short notice to make sure we would have a safe space if our move fell through (and if when we got the keys the house was unliveable!) they were responsive and kind, at a time that was incredibly stressful. They provided extra info, and so much flexibility. Encounters like this give you faith in humanity again. We will forever be grateful for their kindness, even if we did not get the opportunity to stay (we hope to come back to hike in the surrounding areas and thank them again). We cannot recommend them enough as a reliable, genuine and kind set of hosts. Thank you ❤️

The house was fantastic, it had everything we needed and much more. As well as the welcome pack of wine, crisps and biscuits, the fridge had been stocked with milk and OJ, and there was a variety of condiments as well as coffees, tea and sugar. Carol was very accommodating, a travel cot and highchair were supplied and set up for our arrival. Any messages we sent were quickly responded to. We would definitely stay here again when visiting family and friends in the area. 10/10

Just enjoyed our first ever stay at Sunnyside Lodge for Hogmanay, what a beautiful and serene place, very comfortable and spotlessly clean, we were made to feel right at home and so were our two little pooches. Thank you Lucy and Colin for all the little extras, the bubbles, homemade scones, homemade jam, locally sourced treats like the bread really made our stay feel extra special. We really hope to stay again soon x
