A beautiful home in a breathtaking setting. The views in every direction were stunning, there were so many birds around in the garden in the morning, it was wonderful to wake up to. The house was really well outfitted, very clean, spacious and relaxing. The location was ideal for visiting family and friends in the area. We would love to return again one day.

Staying in the ranch area was a fun change. Extra water on site was very thoughtful

My stay with Ricardo was great - I'd come back anytime. The old plantation house had a great charm.

Thank you for being such a nice host. We loved staying in your house. It felt like home away from home. We had everything we needed, and we relaxed the whole time. Maybe we will have a chance to return another time. We already miss the cool breezes, the hammocks, and the view from the veranda. Jayuya has perfect “climate control”, we never needed the air conditioning! We will place coffee orders in the future for ourselves and to share.

Our 4 nights at Irene's were absolutely amazing. It was the best place to stay we were on our Costa Rica trip. The whole atmosphere of the house and the surroundings, does the soul good ❤️ I slept as well as anywhere else, the sounds of the jungle and the pond in front of the house are incomparably beautiful and the beds super comfortable. Our two daughters, 1 and 5, felt just as comfortable. We fed animals daily, sometimes made tortillas and we were allowed to harvest coffee. The married couple on site is very sweet and familiar. We booked breakfast and dinner: super tasty Costa Rican home cooking. Absolutely recommended!!! Thank you for the wonderful time in this fantastic oasis ❤️

We loved our time at Casa Feliz! Highlights were sitting on the porch in the mornings watching the birds, hiking up toward Cerro Chirripó, a walk across the swinging bridge to Finca Brinca for lattes and banana bread, tasting the garden, and exploring the beautiful rio Talari. Brad and Nikki were a joy to be around and have put so much love and intentionality into their property, it’s truly a gem and they are talented and creative! This whole valley is a really special place and we hope to return!

Loved staying at the farm. The location was perfect for the laid back beaches of Playa Avellanas and Playa Negra. There are a bunch of great restaurants and cafés nearby so you don’t have to go to Tamarino unless of course you wanted to. Jesus was terrific and showed us around when we got there as well as checked in daily to clean the pool and bring us bananas to feed the horses. This is a unique find and highly recommended.

What a beautiful place to stay. Hosts are super friendly & welcoming! Incredible views, exactly as pictured. They have multiple things to offer on the site, like horseback riding (highly recommend), massages, boat ride & hiking on their ranches path. The drive to the Airbnb is EXACTLY as described. 4x4 recommended highly. Very bumpy, gravel roads. You drive through 2 rivers, depending which way GPS takes you. Would NOT recommend driving at night. I’d also recommend staying at this place for most of your stay as it takes 30-60 minutes to get to any “city”. La Fortuna is 2.5 hours away. Monteverde is 1.5 hours away. San Jose is 4+ hours away. Super nice place for a romantic getaway. Stay & enjoy the views, cook dinner in & enjoy their pool on the deck!

Very nice and true to the description. A cozy and very nice place

A lovely rustic property surrounded by nature and sweet farm animals made this accommodation perfect for our family to stay for a night. The family was incredibly warm and welcoming to us.

The views were amazing from Gilberto’s place. The house was exactly as described. It is a bit out of town down dirt roads. If you are a light sleeper you might find it challenging on a windy night as the trees rattle around you. We loved feeling like we were in the trees. Definitely recommend the night tour and dinner at the family restaurant.

We had a fantastic stay at Leonardo’s place! He went above and beyond to make our experience comfortable. He kindly allowed us to check in early when we arrived in the city ahead of schedule. Without even asking, he brought us an infant feeding chair when he saw we had a baby, which was such a thoughtful touch. Late at night, when our laundry was finished, he even carried it back to the casa for us. His hospitality and kindness truly made a difference in our stay. Thank you so much, Leonardo! Highly recommend this place! p.s About 10 minutes away from La Fortuna but it's a beautiful drive.

Nice plece to be unplugged

The hosts were excellent - Luis and Yess went above and beyond to help us enjoy our stay in what is a beautiful location with stunning views. The place has everything needed and is small but very comfortable with a spacious balcony. We would love to stay again.

Rick and Ashley’s house is a place where you can easily feel like home. It is beautiful and well equipped. On top of that, there are birds, toucans, hummingbirds and many others all around in the garden. Don’t hesitate a minute. Special thanks to our superb guide Jhonny with whom we did a night walk. He was able to show us many frogs, vipers, snakes.. but more, he patiently looked for the tapirus for us… And we saw them sooo close. A truly magical experience.

This was an absolutely wonderful and beautiful space! It allowed us to enjoy the space as a family while also having separate spaces to decompress. It borders a beautiful golf course and is 25 minutes away from another one so for a family of golfers, it was great! I will note and appreciate the hosts for also noting this in their welcome book - the house is on an island in the middle of heavy nature - bugs are expected. Do your due diligence of keeping inside clean but expect the usual bugs after a storm outside! The hosts were also very communicative and responsive and gave really good instructions before, during and after our stay. Overall, highly recommend for a group or family get a way to be a bit away from Old San Juan and get to enjoy the West coast a bit more !

A stunning location with that special feel of having arrived at the right place.

A very quiet place surrounded by beautiful nature, close to attractions such as Laguna de Manuel, Dota Park, and downtown Santa Maria de Dota. The house is spacious and beautiful, in keeping with the area. Gustavo is an excellent host, always friendly and providing timely and clear information.

Oscar is a super host. The house is very private yet overlooks the owner's farm so we loved watching the beautiful horses, pigs, goats and cows as the family prepared them for a show. The AC works great in the bedrooms and as mentioned, we stayed during a warm time and spent most of our time in the pool or at the shady grill/party area as the main room can get truly warm with no AC. And of course, the sun setting on the volcano-can't be matched! Don't hesitate to book this great place!

Exactly what we were looking for - very private; quiet. Walkable to a private section of the beach but accessible to a stretch that was populated with several beach bars; water taxi drop off as well as a few restaurants. Although walkable to the Park Hyatt and the restaurants within the resort - we accessed the beach bars instead. Bacchus was wonderful at check in and filled the fridge with staples - eggs; bread; beer; etc - a nice and unexpected touch! Prior to our arrival we received a detailed email with restaurant and activity recommendations as well as info re: auto rental; grocery stores; etc! Just a perfect week! Thank you

Amazing location about 20 minutes from downtown La Fortuna. Nice to be away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to easily get into town. Gorgeous property that is serine and peaceful - with lots of birds to enjoy. Every area is gated so well which was really helpful with our kids. It allowed us to feel really safe wherever they were. The pool and amenities for the kids was also wonderful.

Great space, wonderful views and the grounds were beautiful with all the flowers. Really enjoyed the hot tub and the beds were nice and cozy. Stopped there as a half way point to the Caribbean coast. Was a tad difficult finding, but it was in the dark and once we got to Aquarius and looked at the pictures we got there no problem. Host was responsive. Thank you for sharing your wonderful house.
