Thank you for a cozy, peaceful, pet-friendly stay for our family! Everything was clean and comfortable, and we were just a short drive into town. We hope to stay again when visiting family and friends.

Emilie and the Bluebird Trails B&B made the perfect winter weekend getaway. Her adorable and friendly dogs excitedly greeted us each time we pulled up, which we enjoyed. Emilie is a wonderful host, who was present and interactive while providing us the utmost privacy. Breakfast was lovely, and Emilie provided us a fun demonstration of the dogs working with the sheep. The beauty of Emilie’s farm is stunning, and on a clear night, the stars shine so brightly. Spending time at Bluebird Trails gave me a sense of peace I have been missing for a while! Emilie’s local recommendations were top notch. We attended the Hillsdale Farmers Market on Saturday morning, which was full of local produce and goods even in January, many of which are grown and made by Emilie herself. We went for a toboggan run about 45 minutes away at Pokagon State Park, which was a thrill for us as a couple! I hope to stay with Emilie again. It was the best stay we have had in our many years of Airbnb!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this lake house! The home was even more beautiful in person than in the photos—spotless, peaceful, and cozy. The host went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, offering thoughtful amenities in case we forgot anything, which added a warm and personal touch. The lake itself is stunning, and the area is delightfully quiet, making it a perfect retreat. One thing to note, as already mentioned in the listing, is that all the bedrooms are upstairs, and the luxurious master bathroom with the whirlpool tub is shared with the other upstairs bedrooms. So if you’re staying with other guests or children, keep in mind it’s a shared space. Overall, we had a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend this rental for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. We can’t wait to return!
