Family-friendly holiday rentals in Burradoo

Lovely stay and great location. Short walk to the beach and shops. Large outdoor patio for lazy afternoons. We could even see the firework show in Kiama on New Year's eve from the patio. Thanks for a memorable holiday!

We had the best week at Sundara. We were an extended family group of 8 adults and 3 young kids, and as such a big group we often struggle to find a big enough place to spread out in - Sundara was perfect. Lots of space with several living spaces so we didn’t feel on top of each other the whole time, and plenty of space outside for the kids to run around in. The playground, pool and climbing equipment were perfect for the girls, Melanie has thought of everything when catering for young children, so it’s a really great spot for them. The pool and spa were perfect temperature so we could use them all day and in the evening too when the kids went to bed. Melanie’s communication was excellent and made the process so easy. We’ll definitely be back !

We had a lovely stay in Circa 1890 - house (and garden) are beautiful. The house was comfortable and spacious and in a perfect location for walking anywhere in town. Great kitchen, bbq and entertaining areas for dining and relaxing too. Terri is a great host.

We loved the beautiful country setting among rolling hills, and the large porches from which to enjoy it from. The cottage is very quaint and tastefully furnished and decorated. I appreciated the obviously loving care Kate has invested into the decor. Our time was mostly spent at one of the many beaches the area has to offer from family friendly to surf beaches there is something for everyone.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful Airbnb! The house was stunning, and the farm was such a treat. Our kids loved feeding the animals. A special highlight was the warm hospitality; Barbie surprised us with freshly baked bread, which was such a thoughtful touch. The entire experience was relaxing and memorable. We can’t wait to come back!

Had the best Chrissie holiday in years! The house is in an amazing location and we spent our days swimming, reading, swimming, coffee, swimming, eating!! The sea breeze, the easy access to the beach and rock pool, cafes just around the corner and a large lounge and kitchen that made everything just so easy, and delivered a quintessential Aussie Christmas holiday. Tracey was fabulous and friendly to deal with and all instructions were clear, so check in and check out just happened, no fuss! We will definitely be coming back.

Gerrigong is the perfect place for a beach holiday and Chris and Rachel’s place is perfectly situated and private. Lots of bird calls from the garden in the morning which we loved.all bedrooms bar one upstairs with 2 bathrooms which enabled both family time and time out which we all loved. Easy walking distance to Werri beach and shops as long as you don’t mind a few hill starts.

Quaint cottage with stunning garden. Has everything you need for a comfortable stay. I stayed with my daughter so we only used two bedrooms. Just a note that the third room - a long sunroom with two single beds - is only accessible via the second bedroom.

We had a fabulous stay at the Ocean Breeze apartment. Everything was in pristine condition and we were greeted by the lovely Kerri who made us feel right at home. The location is next to none, the beach minutes away, restaurants close by and the surroundings peaceful and scenic. The kids especially loved the complimentary cookies!! Our stay was perfect and we can't wait to return to the beautiful Windang!

A perfect stay for our family event at the Burrawang pub - easy walking distance. Lovely birdsong in the mornings, and the house had everything we needed.

Our stay here was absolutely magical! The cottage is a peaceful retreat surrounded by stunning nature—waking up to the melodies of magpies, crimson rosellas, and galahs was a delight, and spotting kangaroos added to the experience. The warm weather, serene surroundings, and thoughtful touches made it the perfect getaway for us and our dog, who loved every moment. Fran and Ken are wonderful hosts, and their cottage is a true sanctuary. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with nature!

I absolutely loved my stay at Margot’s place. The interior design and furnishings are beautiful and welcoming. I enjoyed the library of books and the board games. The highlight of my stay was feeding the sheep - Felix in particular is adorable!! Margot herself is friendly, engaging, proactive and generous. The space afforded a lot of privacy but it was nice to know the hosts were close by. I would definitely book this property again.

We had a great time staying at Antonia’s. Host was very accommodating. The house is beautiful and peaceful. It’s a few minutes drive to the local town with a lot of nice cafes and shops. Antonia kindly lent us a dog crate for our dog. They also have a fenced area outside if you want a bit of break from your pup. The only thing to note is that whilst it’s pet friendly, it’s best to not let your dog off lead as Antonia’s gorgeous horses are roaming around the property (in a fenced area). Overall, a great weekend bnb if you want to get away from the city and relax.

Don’t hesitate to book this place. It was a beautiful and relaxing getaway. The views of sunrises and sunsets on the Shoalhaven river were magical not to mention the cute kangaroos happily grazing in the backyard views seen from upstairs in the living room were lovely. Bella and Dolly dogs were adorable. We wanted to take Bella home she’s the puppy of the two dogs and she made a new best friend with my Mum was cute. Service from the hosts was nothing short of excellent. They are very welcoming and inviting, give you you’re own space whilst at the same time interacted regularly when needed. Two beautiful hosts who were like friends. I will definitely be going back again in the new year 😊

We walked down the lush garden path in through the front door and immediately felt calm, at ease and energised. We opened all the doors and windows, looked over the river from the deck. Didn’t feel like leaving. We mainly cooked instead of eating out, all doing’s bought locally with the kitchen well stocked with crockery, cookware, utensils and appliances. With all seasons experienced in our 3 day stay - from humid 37C to cool and raining, but hardly used the air-con. We used the huge bath and river below for regular cooling off, and the fireplace was there should it have been needed. The cicada’s were incredible - waves of sound like rain squalls, new bird noises every day and visits from possums. Though close to neighbours - we couldn’t have felt more private. Can’t wait to come back in winter….

A truly fantastic experience! The location was ideal, close to wonderful spots for food and entertainment, yet nestled in the peaceful surroundings of the valley. The place itself was amazing and a great find. Cheryl was an incredible host—very responsive and attentive. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kangaroo Valley!

A great find on air bnb and only 1.5 hours from Sydney. We stayed for three nights at Donna’s air bnb to get away from the city and spend some relaxing time as a family for our wedding anniversary. You are cake to sit back and enjoy the peace and quiet here. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. The home was comfortable and was fairly well equipped. You do have to tidy/clean up when you leave but that’s wasn’t an issue for us. We were greeted by kangaroos every day, which was so magical. The shared pool is great and perfect for warm and sunny days. The location was perfect for us as it was only a 5-10 mins drive to restaurants and cellar doors and cafes. The hosts have a comprehensive list of recommendations also. Eschalot restaurant is a must if you go and stay. You will thank me later. Will definitely go back again. Thanks for a relaxing stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Bowral! The vintage decor gave the space a charming and cozy feel, and everything was impeccably clean. The hosts went the extra mile by providing some thoughtful snacks, and communication with them was seamless and easy. The surrounding gardens added a peaceful and relaxing vibe, perfect for unwinding. The air conditioning made the room wonderfully cozy, especially during Bowral's chilly nights. We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

A dreaming place away from home. The big house on a big land has 5 bed rooms with 5 bath rooms suited for a big family or a group of friends. The kitchen is huge as well catered for some serious cooking though we didn't use much. There are also 4 living and dining areas plus a movie room. We all enjoy the place. The host is attentive and caring person, always very willing to help.

We had the most amazing 4 days at Tom and Derrian's place during the October long weekend. The hosts were very welcoming and greeted us well. We felt that w fit right into the place. The unit itself is quite tastefully decorated has a zen feeling about it. 2 very comfortable queen size beds and 2 separate rooms. Bathroom nice and tidy, kitchen well equipped. The living room has a smart TV with Netflix subscription (which my 2 parents utilized). Heaps of books to keep one busy. Good for short to long term stay. Absolutely loved our stay and will surely return back. Pia
