Gina was such a great host. Very responsive and flexible. The stay was very comfy and very quiet. Everything was close in proximity, Butchart was 5 mins away and the Butterfly Garden Museum was 3 mins away. So much fun. Oh, and the resident pets were so cute & very friendly!! Gina also allowed us to pick a few fruits from her trees. Pears & blueberries were sweet. Just walking in the backyard was so peaceful. LOVED every moment.

We loved our stay! It was a great location, right off the hill and a short walk to the village. The kitchen and living space was well-equipped with everything we needed and very clean! We will definitely stay here next time we are visiting SilverStar!

We loved staying at this beautiful home. The house is very inviting and has lovely baths and bedrooms . The best is the sweeping deck with its spectacular view. The beauty and peacefulness of it has to be experienced to fully appreciate, it was better than the pictures. We loved watching sunrise and sunsets from the deck. We also did see seals and sea otters liked climbing onto the deck. Beautiful trails are a short driving distance away. This is a very peaceful , but more out of the way location. It is for relaxation, but not for those looking for nearby restaurants. However, we did drive twice to Victoria to enjoy all the beautiful city has to offer, including a fantastic whale watching trip with Eagle Wing tours , who we cannot recommend enough. They went out of their way to show us killer whales, humpback whales and sea lions. . A trip to Hatley castle was also very lovely. We loved our time at this home and would return and highly recommend it for a beautiful and peaceful stay.

Tina was very pleasant to deal with and we would recommend staying at their suite which offered a beautiful view of the lake. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Thank you for a great stay.

Really enjoyed this place…nice and private, very quiet, well equipped, lots of space as it is the entire ground floor of their home. Lots of light through south facing windows so doesn’t feel dungeony. Will come back on future visits to the area. The hot tub is always hot any time you want to go for a dip, nice touch during a freezing week in January!

We stayed at Peter’s home for a month while waiting for our condo to be completed. The home is very bright and the view is fantastic! We really appreciated the cozy decor that was free of clutter. The beds are comfortable and everything was very clean. When we had some heating problems at the beginning of our stay, Peter was quick to come and address the issue. The kitchen is relatively well equipped (Peter brought us a few things that were missing), but agree with one of the reviews that if you plan on cooking a lot, you may need some extra supplies. Not a huge issue for us, but there is no cable for the TV (it is a smart TV with streaming services though). We would definitely recommend Peter’s home!

Thank you for a wonderful stay. We enjoyed the location being walking distance to the marina which made everything so easy to get to for our event. The property was perfect, well equipped and decorated beautifully, we enjoyed the view of the lake with a coffee or glass of wine. Lots of towels, blankets etc. Thanks so much!

Jay and Tia were great hosts. The unit was clean, comfortable, tastefully decorated and was the perfect base for our ski trip. The well-stocked kitchen and laundry made cooking and getting cleaned up easy.

This was our second year staying with Carly and we are looking forward to next year. We come for an annual ski weekend and couldn’t be more pleased with her home and location. It’s clean, comfortable, and way better than staying at a hotel!

We had an amazing stay at Luba’s place! The garden was truly the highlight. Its beautifully mantained with a stunning view that made morning and afternoons really special. It was the perfect time to relax and let our doggos run loose. Inside, the rooms had black out blinds and the beds were incredibly soft comfortable, which provided us with a great night’s sleep after a day full of activities. Luba was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely recomend this place if you’re looking to relax and enjoy a gorgeous scenery. We cant wait to come back for a nice dip in the pool during summer :)

It was a pleasure staying in your cabin. Watching otters walk acroos the frozen lake was a highlight! Highly recommend!

Cathy's house exceeded our expectations. Easy to cook a nice meal. Superbly crafted, comfortable dining framed with chairs-clear coated braked steel tubing. Great glass table to do jigsaw puzzles. Love the 2 bull elk street walking, during rut season! Nice, private deaded road setting.

Jason's place was wonderful, we had an amazing time! It was exactly as described, and we couldn't have asked for anything more. Jason was very responsive before and during our stay. The condo is perfectly located ski-in and ski-out in a new complex. The condo itself is superbly furnished with a very well-supplied kitchen, beautiful rooms and bathrooms and impressive washing/dryer facilities. The hot tub on the balcony is a fantastic end to a ski day. The garage storage for skis/boots etc made it very easy to get out the door each day too, especially with kids! We highly recommend Jason's place and would love to stay there again when we visit Sun Peaks next.

Nice quiet, clean and spacious accommodation. A lovely yard and deck area to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The hosts were helpful and kind. We would certainly come back.

We got to squeeze in a ski trip to round out our winter and Katherine's place was perfect! The location is beautiful, the kitchen has everything we needed to cook, comfortable beds and couches and a greta hot tub! Everything you need for a perfect ski trip. Thanks again!
