Outdoor shower is your only bathing option in every season- it’s a delight! Hiking, cycling and running trials, roads and paths are abundant. Please note the kitchenette: microwave, bar fridge, bar sink, kettle, French press, dishes, and cutlery. *There is a short gravel pathway from the parking lot up to the suite. There is some development going on in the area.

We had an outstanding experience at this incredible waterfront property! The hosts were truly amazing, great communication and ensured our every need was met. The property itself was immaculate, exactly as described, and well maintained. All amenities were in excellent working order, and the location was perfect – secluded, private, and just a short 20-minute drive to town. Ideal for our family's getaway during our son's karate tournament. We would definitely book this property again and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The unit was really easy to access. This space was cozy and comfortable. Everything was fresh and clean. The host was amazing and super responsive with any questions we had. Walks around the resort were lovely, pools were awesome for kiddos. Would absolutely stay here again. It's always great to stay at a property where the host obviously cares about the comfort of the guest. I can't think of one item that we needed but couldn't find. It was perfect for cooking meals, had a big yard for playing, and was super close to the beach. The beds and furniture were cozy for the rainy days and Barb and Erin went out of their way to put smiles on my daughters faces. We will definitely be back.

Gail's House is a beloved family getaway filled with quirky and interesting marine and nautical pictures and gadgets so lovingly collected. It's very comfortable and right on the dock and the views are amazing. Lucky for us, we were there in prawn season and our hosts gave us the best prawns we have ever had, fresh from the water. I want to return.

This is a beautiful, tranquil location and lovely home. DM is a very attentive host, almost like a mom :) There were a lot of thoughtfully tailored touches that welcomed us and made us feel at home, including some really lovely breakfasts. It made for a very nice, cozy getaway with a lot of nice perks - massage table, firepit, and a super comfortable hot tub. if you're looking to be charmed by East Sooke, this is a fantastic place for it!

Michele had excellent communication and was very easy to reach. Suite was located 15 minutes from town, which is perfect as we wanted a little peace and quiet. The only note is I was covered in Dog hair after my stay. I don’t have a dog so it must just be in the carpet. Nothing wrong with that for me, but be aware if you have allergies!! Thank you Michele!
