Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely house - it was completely comfortable and charming.

Elaine's place is a great value for a solo traveler or two people who don't mind getting cozy in a tiny house. Parking is easy and right in front of the door. Elaine was super responsive, friendly, and flexible. The kitchen is very well stocked for such a small place. The town is within 20 minutes walking distance with plenty of good restaurants, fun shopping, and beautiful views.

Swans Island is quiet and beautiful, and Gregory's place is well-provisioned whether you want to stay inside and watch movies on a stormy day or venture out to explore. The house is comfortable with a cozy but spacious upstairs and shelves of books, board games, and puzzles. The kitchen is stocked with dishes and cooking utensils as well as a large refrigerator. The crows nest is a huge feature, we spent many hours sat up there watching the sky change around us; it is beautifully constructed and truly unique! The ferry provided consistent access to the mainland and made Acadia reasonably within reach (with some get up and go and awareness of time later in the day), and it was wonderful to see the park in all its winter glory. This was an excellent stay and great value, and just the kind of quiet we were hoping for!
