Monthly Rentals in Bridekirk

Lovely stay at Alan and Gillian's cottage! The location is fantastic, right on the water and so close to town but also very private feeling. Alan was very responsive to messages and kind enough to even come find us when we had trouble locating the proper parking area. The cottage was well-stocked and just as described. We only used one of the bedrooms, but it was comfy. Our pets enjoyed the garden, but it might not be ideal for daring pups who want to jump in! We also loved the wood furnace, with coal and kindling provided (we brought our own larger logs). We stayed warm! The area is full of restaurants and pubs, with a Sainsbury's only minutes walk away. We no issue with WiFi and were able to explore the Lake District without issue. Plenty of walks within 20-30 minute drive! The only negative thing was an occasional slight damp smell, which my husband didn't even notice - understandable when so close to water, though. Overall, it was a great stay and we highly recommend to others!

We had such a lovely stay, James was very helpful and responsive. The house felt like a home from home and had everything we needed and more. It was the cleanest Air BnB we've stayed in, with the most comfertable bed we've stayed in too! Neighbours were really helpful and friendly. The children loved waving to the horses. The parents loved having a filter coffee with a sea view, it was bliss. We can't wait to stay again, thanks so much!

This property is well maintained and equipped. It’s central location in Cockermouth is a real bonus that allows you to walk everywhere in the town. While we were in town for a funeral I know that Cockermouth is so well placed for the Lake District. However the town has lots of independent businesses which makes it a great place to stay. Richard’s flat would be hard to beat as a place to enjoy the surrounding countryside.

We loved our stay at the Jenny Lane barn! The space is beautifully renovated, blending rustic charm with modern comforts. It was a great location for exploring, with amenities nearby and easily accessible. The barn was super clean and stocked with everything we needed. We particularly enjoyed the log burner to keep it cosy and had more logs kindly delivered to the door by Ashley. Will definitely be back!
