This was my first time using and booking a place with Airbnb. I am so glad I found Glyn's apartment listed .The photos looked great and they reflected accurately once we got to the location and put the keys through the door it felt like a home from home . very beautifully decorated (modern ,stylish but still comfortable). The apartment was clean ,peaceful, and had a river flowing behind . Glyn was quick to respond ,tentative and provided me with lots of recommendations and information before the visit . Glyn had also left us with some lovely freebies ( proceco,beer, popcorn,tea , artisan coffee) to enjoy. Our toddler loved the bed in bedroom number 2 and slept really well in there . there. If we went back to this area again we would stay here. Thank you Glyn

Stayed for 3 nights over new years and we loved Hannah’s place. Great central location to Windermere and there are lots of shops & restaurants, all walkable. The place was quiet, well looked after and very clean. The bed was super comfy! It was just like it was described and very cosy. Hannah was quick to respond to questions and very helpful. I would recommend as a place to stay if visiting the lakes.

Beautiful lodging! Even nicer than website Heating, once we understood the (very simple) system, very comfortable. Amenities were excellent. The local area is beautiful and Northern Rail station a 7 minute walk. Highly recommend, it is more like your home than an apartment.

Perfect stay at number 4. Spotless, friendly hosts and lovely touch to include some basics like milk, tea and coffee. We had a lovely first night in brown sugar, would recommend the cocktails. A lovely scramble up Helvellyn, and a nice bike ride around Ambleside the following days. Would definitely recommend this Airbnb and we’re sure we’ll be back!

Really convenient apartment for a short visit to Kendal. Very central and close to the Brewery Arts centre where we were attending a gig. Plenty of pubs, cafés etc in very easy walking distance. The apartment had everything we needed.

Tranquil setting, lovely apartment and a great base to explore the area from on foot, bike and quick drive to lots of amazing hikes.

Absolutely loved my stay. It had everything I needed and was pristine clean when I arrived. The location is good only a short walk in the centre of Kendal and lots of nice walks almost outside the front door. Highly recommend.

Perfect place to stay when bagging Wainwrights, very quiet, comfy beds and ideal there are two bedrooms! Check in was easy, car park right behind , close to shops and pubs but not noisy. Well worth the money and will definitely be returning

Excellent and cosy stay in a comfortable basement flat. Very quiet setting with lovely views from the door and a beautiful quiet garden to utilise. Walking distance to Grasmere and onto the hills. Everything of good quality in the flat and easy to access and park. Highly recommended

House was perfect. Ray and Sue were very helpful hosts. Added extras in the fridge (beer and milk) were really kind. Perfect place to spend the night.

We really enjoyed staying at Paul's AirBnB. It was a great location to explore the Lake District from, parking was super easy, and the location was extremely walkable to local pubs and restaurants in central Bowness. Paul was a very responsive host, answering any questions we had promptly, and was also extremely flexible as we did not have a clear sense of when we would be arriving for check-in until several hours prior.

Swallows Loft is perfect for people who like a comfortable, cosy place to relax at the end of a hard days walk or sightseeing in The Lakes. Louise and Mick have thought of everything to make you feel at home in the apartment. The views are wonderful, it was a wet and windy New Years break, so we’d love to return in the summer. Super hosts in my opinion.

A really lovely garden apartment/studio room. Cate's attention to all the little details makes this a really special place to stay, super comfy single bed, extra blankets, maps of the local area and descriptions of walks from the front door. I felt incredibly welcome with my dog, fresh eggs with feathers still on, emergency bottles of wine to buy in case I forgot to bring my own, tempting sweet treats, just the right amount of all the essentials to feel really generous without tipping over into wasteful. Would love to come back and would highly recommend.

This place is honestly perfect for a little weekend away exploring the lakes. Had everything you needed and the views were honestly beautiful, around the area and most places nearby were in distance, the little town nearby pooley bridge was perfect for pubs and restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay ago honestly could not fault this place. Thank you for an amazing stay :)

We enjoyed our 2 nights break at Tom's apartment in historic Orton Hall. It had an impressive atmosphere in the building and the overall property and grounds were very peacefull. Just a pity weather was wet and cold. A good base for lake district shopping and exploration.

Was easy to check in and locate with it only being a short distance from Windermere

Luxury apartment with a view to match, overlooking Ambleside pier, the lake and mountains. Exquisite! Full use kitchen. Chaisse overlooking the lake is the perfect spot! Comfortable seating in front of large screen TV. Can't wait to come back!

A wonderful three nights spent at Fair Rigg in the Wainwright. Fantastic to be sent the brochure before setting off with everything that we may need to know ( and more) for our stay. Slept so well in the extremely comfortable beds. Enjoyed the nespresso coffee, having enough pods for our stay. Will definitely book again if staying around Windermere.

Booked Richard’s and Judith’s apartment for my parents as a Xmas present. My parents loved the location and commented that it was perfect for them. Thanks for being great hosts. Phil
