The apartment is in the heart of The Lake District National Park, with easy access via local buses to Ambleside Grasmere and Keswick. Brand new, for two, not suitable for infants, children or disabled no pets or smoking, located a genuine five minute walk to the heart of Bowness on Windermere, yet located within a peaceful area with gardens, views and plenty of walks from the door. Park your car safely off road with ample space. Restaurants, bars, takeaways, Tesco and Coop are close by. You can take the car ferry to the far side of the lake from Bowness, or explore lake Windermere with the Lake cruises that leave Bowness.

Dorothy’s place is part of an 18th Century Villa. Everything you need for that perfect romantic break. Guests get full use of the large garden and woodland to take in the stunning view. If travelling by train our advice would be get a taxi from the station as can be difficult to find on foot . Guests are welcome to park up as early as you want before check in or drop luggage off in a safe place,but please let us know in advance.
