Beautiful cottage and location, great local recommendations by host. Fantastic attention to detail - from lighting to layout inside and outside the cottage. Hot Tub in the woodland was magical! Many thanks Sarah, we hope to come again one day.

Very pleasant stay whilst working in the area. The house and location met all of our needs.

Stayed for a weekend in August 2024 for a birthday celebration. Mixed ages from 9m to 70 plus one cocker spaniel. We all had a fantastic time, especially the spaniel! The house and gardens are beautiful and we went for a walk each evening around the wetlands. House is superbly stocked with top quality items ie pots and pans, massive fridge freezer, surround sound, games etc. We have stayed in many AirBnbs as a family but all agreed this was one of the best. We would love to stay again someday. Carolyn and Steve were excellent hosts, always on hand to help with any questions and even allowed a much earlier check in which was appreciated. If this place is available, book it!

A very nice apartment at a fantastic location. Close to shops and tram-station. Maybe a bit for the center of town, but for us it was perfect. And Jo was a very proactive and responding host.

Great communication. Good location with some nice eateries locally and easy access into Leeds. Dedicated parking is a bonus. We stayed with an infant for a wedding in Leeds and it was an ideal base.

Dan has a fabulous home, very modern, the bed was so comfy, lovely modern kitchen, outdoor space and seating - it was so easy to find and super quiet. Perfect for Asda, and a short walk to the horse racing. Thanks so much Dan! Taxi from the station for a fiver x

Had a lovely couple of days with my daughter and grandchildren. Cottage was cosy and safe for the children complete with baby gate and travel cot. Great location and on site swimming pool was a bonus. Can imagine the play area and picnic area are perfect in the warmer months.

Thoroughly enjoyed staying here. Value for money. Pristine. Fantastic hamper - very kind. Decorated for Christmas- lovely touch. Would love to return and stay as our son is at York University for another 2 years. So peaceful. Lovely accessibility to green spaces. Thank you very much Ellie 💖

Simon's place was an absolute gem in a lovely location. Felt very tranquil. We had 2 little Bodeguero dogs with us and once across the road it's a nice walk roughly 2 miles along the river Dearne to Darton which has a good café and a couple of nice pubs. Good walks round the back of the place to the lake and right next door is the sculpture park. Would stay again for sure.

Great apartment. Only downside is collecting and returning keys to a convenience store 3 tram stops away (so it’s not a 5 min walk).

Cute and comfortable Airbnb right in the heart of Kirkby Lonsdale - location was perfect. Lots of nice shops, pubs and coffee shops on our door step. Free parking 5 mins walk away. Would have liked to stay longer

Lovely little flat that was comfortable and homely. Had everything we needed for an overnight stay and well located near the High Street. Had dinner at the Black Bull which was lovely. Would certainly stay here again!

There was good communication prior to us arriving. The apartment was spotless, seems very new, everything was comfortable. Loads of space! There were four of us and it was anything but cramped. Even with double the number of people it would still feel extremely spacious. Amazing view from the balcony - we didn't go in summer but would be amazing to sit out there in the sunshine! You're quite near a main road but you don't hear it and it means you've got easy access to the towns, villages and countryside nearby. Perfect if you want to explore. If we're back in the area we'd definitely check to see if the apartment is available. Highly recommended.

From the time we booked we were made to feel that John and Christine were waiting to welcome us to their lovely cottage. We had clear directions and John was there to welcome us when we arrived. He showed us round the cottage, gave us helpful advice about eating places, etc and he was there if we needed to check anything out (although everything was really fine and we didn't need to trouble him). The cottage is super - part of an old farmhouse on their working farm, surrounded by fields and lovely scenery. The cottage is extremely well equipped and, to our surprise, there were lots of lovely welcome treats, including prosecco, mulled wine, lovely chocolates, etc etc. Such a wonderful welcome for our 'twixmas' mini break. The area is very attractive and well placed to visit places like Haworth and Skipton, which we did. We would certainly recommend this lovely cottage and want to thank John and Christine for making our stay so enjoyable.

Patrick was fast in responding to our needs and the house was ready for us upon arrival. And what a lovely house it was too! Although the building was old, it was spotless and the views were breathtaking - well worth taking an early morning coffee on the porch for. Definitely worth siting in the hot tub and taking in the stars and views too. Great local walk right outside the front door - across the lake and through the woods following the tint stream that tumbles out of the little damn. The beds and linen are up there with the best we have ever experienced (very seasoned travellers in this family) and there was an endless supply of boiling hot showers if needed. Kitchen is well stocked with utensils and, best of all, dozens of very sharp knives of every description! We should come again, highly recommended.

Our stay at this beautiful, cozy cottage set in a lovely, tranquil location was flawless. Sylvia is the perfect hostess offering delicious lemon cake, instant communication, and extensive knowledge of the local area regarding dining and places to visit. The weather was very kind to us, and at night the clear skies were amazing. Our children loved stroking the horses and could have done it all day. We all cannot wait to return!

We had a lovely 2 nights here. It's a great location with beautiful surrounding countryside. Beautiful views at the short walk to Digley reservoir. Holme Moss Summit spectacular. The accommodation was great - everything as described/ as the photos. Really nice to hear the sound of the river. We'd certainly consider staying again.

Beautiful cottage in a lovely quiet village. Well presented and clean with quality fixtures. Well stocked for cooking at home. Met with fresh bread, butter, jam and milk which was much appreciated. We had a wonderfully peaceful stay and will try to return

A lovely cottage in a good location with good routes to the lakes. We left early in the mornings to make the most of the days out to the lakes. Chantal was really lovely and friendly. The log burner was definitely a highlight!
