Monthly Rentals in Boquhan

I had a great time - beautiful surroundings and very peaceful, plenty of wildlife and birds! The Bothy is a very special place with a lovely atmosphere and beautiful views from the windows. It also had everything I needed for my 3 week stay. I wouldn’t hesitate totally recommend it!

Balfron is not a big place, but if you are after a trip to the Scottish countryside it is a good spot and the place is ideally located. You can walk to all the amenities in the small village and, key for us, you could walk to the location of the event we were attending. All in all, just what we needed. It is obviously not equipped if you want to cook and have meals in your place, so this is the only thing that needs to be taken into account, otherwise great spot!

We have just returned from a wonderful weeks holiday at Shona's place. This stay ranks as our best guest experience. Shona is a great host, very friendly and helpful with suggestions and information. The house is very spacious and comfortable with everything you may need. We slept well as the bed was extremely comfortable and the location very peaceful. We had a great meal at the local called the Old Mill . The local Co--Op supermarket is really handy for picking up provisions and the staff extremely warm and helpful. Kiilearn is a very pretty village with friendly locals and fabulous walks from the centre. If you fancy a break from driving to surrounding amazing local places, then the house is very close to the bus stop. with a really efficient bus service. We went into Glasgow - the journey takes about an hour. We were sad when it was time to leave and wouldn't hesitate to return to Killearn and Shona's beautiful home.

Attention to detail of the decor and comfort was so great. Clearly a lot of care and love had gone into decorating and caring for the space.
