Beachfront holiday rental in Boat Harbour

This was exactly as would want from Airbnb. The place was brilliant we had a really enjoyable stay. We were in the top unit with balcony and lovely views. The place was excellent value, clean and well maintained. Off street covered parking, I would definitely recommend to anyone. Alice was a wonderful host and responded to any question very clearly and quickly.

Straight from The Spirit of Tasmania to this gorgeous little bolt hole by the ocean, it was perfect. We could sense that this is a special place for the owners and the small but very functional space was great for our family. Particular highlight is the seperate room for the children 😅

What a stunning location! Incredibly peacful to just sit and watch the water and the wind transform through the day. We felt so welcome, the kitchen was so generouly stocked and made cooking a breeze. Thank you!

Great place to stay. A short walk to the beach or a longer one to the creek which is great for families with young kids. Little Sister General Store is great for lunch or dinner. The property is clean, beds are comfy, shower was hot, kitchen was well stocked. Overall, a very comfortable stay. Will be back when we’re next in the area.

Such a beautiful place to stay. Vanessa and Colin were amazing hosts, super friendly and responsive and had thought of everything at the property! So many little things that made a huge difference - so many games, puzzles, and the best equipped kitchen we've seen in an airbnb. The kids had a great time and we all felt at home. Over the road from the beach and just a short walk to Sister's Creek, such a great location. The outdoor shower and choices for outdoor dining were brilliant. Can't recommend this place highly enough, we'll definitely be back!

We loved our stay in Devonport at Adam’s house. It was welcoming and very clean. We appreciated the extra hospitality of fruit, bread and treats and the washing machine was very welcome. Communication was excellent and friendly.

Absolutely fantastic! The one thing we couldn’t control was the weather, it rained everyday of our holiday bar one, but there wasn’t a better place to be hulled up with the panoramic views of the ocean and young alpaca’s playing in front of their Mothers. Michelle gave us a tour of the farm and it was very special. We were able to pat and hand feed most of the animals. It was truly a truly wonderful experience. Michelle was a great host! Very friendly, generous with her time and helpful.

Little Talisker was simple outstanding. An absolutely magnificent period cottage opposite the beach with amazing views and the most gorgeous balcony to soak up the Stanley sunrise and sunset. The cottage had been renovated to period and is appointed to a high quality and standard making our stay extremely comfortable and memorable. We only wish we had more time and could stay longer in this perfect cottage in such a magnificent town. This was the highlight of our 8 day trip through Tasmania. The cottage is centrally located in walking distance to everything the town has to offer. I highly recommend Little Talisker!!

We wanted a place to use as a base for our day adventures, and this was perfect. The accommodation was very clean, private, comfortable, and calming. We were greeted with yummy treats from Cathryn. Just across the road is the beach which allows long peaceful walks. must mornings we were the first footprints (apart from the penguins!) We will definitely stay here again!!

There is so much to love about this place!! Our extended family group of 11 - adults and kids (4-17) - had the BEST time. It’s perfect for a large family group, with bathrooms on each level, plenty of lounge spaces, and comfy beds. Dining table big enough for everyone to sit around to eat and a fantastic large couch in the lounge. The indoor pool was a total hit with the kids - they were in and out all day every day 🤣 Tip for the pool is to wear goggles (the water was a bit stingy in eyes), and get kids to use the stairs rather than pull themselves out from the sides (the younger ones got a bit of friction rash from the marine carpet around the edge). The location is excellent - the beach across the road through the caravan park was perfect for young kids. Shallow, small waves, and hardly any seaweed. Definitely go to the berry patch and see the penguins at Lillico while you’re there. Bee and James were great hosts and very responsive and helpful. We would love to stay again!

Terry & Fran are great hosts.. very warm and welcoming. Their warmth and love can be felt throughout their house. Their attention to details to ensure the guests have a great experience is what makes them stand out. Felt more like visiting a family. Of course the house itself stands on a splendid location with serene beach views. Also there is lot of resource left at the house as a guide for Things to do in Tassie. Will be more than happy to keep visiting.!!

Penguin Farm Cottage was the perfect holiday accommodation for our young family (2 adults and 2 children aged 4yrs and 1yr old). Such a beautiful location with a stunning view of the farm and ocean. Our kids loved all of the toys, swingset, and the opportunity to pat the cows and feed the chickens. So much thought has been put into the cottage to make it a truly relaxing stay. The cottage garden is beautiful and the interior furnishings really lovely. We appreciated the practical items that made it a comfortable stay with kids too (e.g., plastic cups and plates, high chair). The nearby town of Penguin is picturesque and an easy drive. We had a wonderful stay at this property. The view is beautiful and the house is presented very well. It was even more spacious than the photos suggested and had comfortable beds and had lots of included amenities. I only wish I had read the description more accurately as I relied on the photos thinking it had a BBQ, but the listed amenities had been accurate. We would happily stay here again. Thanks Allan.
