Beachfront holiday rental in Blackburn

This was such an relaxing experience to stay here. To be right off the water and in such a clean accommodation was so relaxing and priceless for the cost. It was well worth it and the organization and responsiveness of the host and management was five out of five customer service.I would definitely stay here again. I love the layout and how they utilize every space in the unit. Not being from South Africa, I need a converter and ask for one from the host and I was able to get the very next day.

We had a delightful stay. Checkers delivered right to our door, and Ushaka Marine World with all the shops and restaurants were within close walking distance. The promenade provided hours of fun with walking, jogging, cycling and people watching. The area is very safe. There were police and security everywhere and we could go stroll on the promenade late at night without fear. We will definitely recommend the place.

We had a wonderful stay at Hazel and William's place in Salt Rock, conveniently located within walking distance of Thompson's Beach. The accommodation was spotless, very well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Hazel and William were excellent hosts, maintaining friendly and clear communication throughout. Unfortunately, there was a 4.5-day power outage during our visit, which affected the entire area. Despite this, Hazel and William ensured we were comfortable, providing us with lights and candles to manage the situation as well as keeping us informed about the situation. Overall, we had a pleasant experience and would recommend this Airbnb for its cleanliness, excellent location, and attentive hosts.

We have found a new gem - Sovereign Sands in Blythedale. Away from the chaos of Ballito and surrounds, it was a breath of fresh air to be a short forest-walk away from a pristine uncrowded beach. It felt like Mozambique (beautiful quiet beaches, dune forest etc), but with the added convenience of Checkers Sixty60 delivering to the Estate. Blythedale itself is a simple town with not much to do, but The Estate is a short beach walk away from Grumpy's beach bar, which was awesome (and made us think of Mozam even more with their jugs of R&R). The accommodation was spacious, clean and comfortable, and while we wished we had a sea-view - the sounds of the ocean were awesome. The kitchen was stocked with all the usual kitchen gadgets (even a Nespresso machine) you'd need. Elsie was communicative and friendly. The Estate felt very safe & well-run. The communal pool area boasted a very large pool that the kids loved (but the adults wished that there was some comfy seating around).

Michelle’s was a superb host and her passion for the environment was a pleasure to witness. The house is clean and tidy and on site staff were very friendly and responsive too. Will definitely recommend this as it is ideal for a family or small groups. Special touch was the safe to securely store valuables.

Spectacular, from the location, the views, the beach access, space, and amenities, this place is heaven for those looking for a quiet, private breakaway to a pristine area just off the M4. Also close enough to Ballito for shopping. The house is perfect for families wanting to relax and enjoy the view, and really does have all you need. Debra was also an excellent host, very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

Roelof was so friendly and helpful. The location is amazing, being so close to the beach! We had a great time on our holiday and will definitely visit again!

Delightful top floor apartment with uninterrupted views of the Indian Ocean. Come rain or shine, the view is amazing! The aircon helped big time after hot and humid beach experiences. Bathrooms are modern and clean with Hans Grohe taps. UPS, torch and portable LED light came handy during power outage. Loved the extra touches of Cappuccino sachets with sugar and carton of milk. Gin & tonic glasses were a nice surprise and came in handy. Oh, and the Tupperware helped too! The Defy washing machine worked like a charm. Went home with clean laundry, yey! The gas braai gave some hassle, but was immediately attended to by host. Would replace Protex soaps in bathrooms with smaller glycerine soaps or liquid soap. All in all - a great experience and we’ll be back!

Lovely cosy home ! Clean , airy and the ac was a huge bonus in the heat. Comfy beds, lovely showers and all the kitchen appliances! Lucentha was so helpful and Cynthia did her magic everyday. You can see and hear the ocean from the balcony and we loved sitting there and spotting so many wonderful birds while watching waves. Also the beach it’s connected to is beautiful. Just a shame that there were no cooking basics as listed like salt/oil.

What a gem of a place! Already booked for next year again!!

Unbeatable view!! We absolutely loved our weekend at Astrid’s, Heather was brilliant, checking us in and showing us around - and available on the phone for any queries. Couldn’t fault a thing - a real piece of paradise, sparkling clean, beautifully furnished and equipped with all amenities needed for our stay. I think Astrid’s spot has the best view in the whole of Santorini!

The house is better and more spacious than in the pictures. The location is fantastic, with direct access to the beach, across the road from one of the best coffee shops and nice restaurants. 8 minute drive to big malls. It is managed professionally and everything worked perfectly. Linen, towels and even basic for the kitchen and bathrooms are included. From welcome to staff, everything was excellent. The house has everything as listed, nothing less, nothing more.

We loved our stay at the Beach House! A private, safe and peaceful location with a great view and full amenities. We loved the short walk to the beach and the location to get to all the hotspots in Ballito with ease. Will be back!

From the moment we walked in we felt relaxed and on holiday. The views from all angles of the home are beautiful, and the home is perfectly laid out. It’s perfectly designed to allow you to enjoy indoor-outdoor living regardless of the wind direction. The home is also perfectly designed to still enjoy a rainy day, without feeling boxed in , due to all the relaxing areas boasting beautiful and naturally lit up areas. We also experience the most incredible dolphin sighting right from the patio with the dolphins playing in the waves. The birdlife is unbeatable, with many sightings of eagles. As for the host, Chad is very helpful, responsive and all-in-all is just a great host.

We stayed for seven days and had a lovely stay. The host was very helpful and the location was perfectly situated near the beach. The space itself was modern and clean however the kitchenette is quite small but was easy to work around. I would definitely recommend.
