Great stay, responsive host, right by the beach! Everything was great!

My family and I had the most splendid time in Bronwyn's well-appointed, spacious quayside apartment bosting magnificent views of the Durban coastline from every room and it's generous balcony, which are even better than the photos. Swimming and surfing beaches are just a few steps away. The area is amazingly quiet at night except for the soft whisper of the waves as they hit the shoreline, inducing the best sleep you're likely to have anywhere. Bronwyn and Mike are exceptional hosts and I do plan to return again soon.

We have found a new gem - Sovereign Sands in Blythedale. Away from the chaos of Ballito and surrounds, it was a breath of fresh air to be a short forest-walk away from a pristine uncrowded beach. It felt like Mozambique (beautiful quiet beaches, dune forest etc), but with the added convenience of Checkers Sixty60 delivering to the Estate. Blythedale itself is a simple town with not much to do, but The Estate is a short beach walk away from Grumpy's beach bar, which was awesome (and made us think of Mozam even more with their jugs of R&R). The accommodation was spacious, clean and comfortable, and while we wished we had a sea-view - the sounds of the ocean were awesome. The kitchen was stocked with all the usual kitchen gadgets (even a Nespresso machine) you'd need. Elsie was communicative and friendly. The Estate felt very safe & well-run. The communal pool area boasted a very large pool that the kids loved (but the adults wished that there was some comfy seating around).

Michelle’s place is absolutely exceptional—one of the most stunning homes I’ve seen in the area. Every detail has been thoughtfully curated to ensure a comfortable and seamless stay. The house is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, making it feel like a true home away from home. The private beach, just steps away, was such a wonderful luxury and made our experience even more special. Michelle is a fantastic host, warm and welcoming, and it’s clear she takes great pride in providing a top-notch experience. I cannot recommend her and her beautiful home highly enough. I’m already looking forward to my next visit—thank you, Michelle, for sharing your incredible space with us!

Spectacular, from the location, the views, the beach access, space, and amenities, this place is heaven for those looking for a quiet, private breakaway to a pristine area just off the M4. Also close enough to Ballito for shopping. The house is perfect for families wanting to relax and enjoy the view, and really does have all you need. Debra was also an excellent host, very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

Roelof was so friendly and helpful. The location is amazing, being so close to the beach! We had a great time on our holiday and will definitely visit again!

I had a wonderful stay at Warren's Airbnb. The check-in process was seamless thanks to his proactive instructions, which covered everything from accessing the gate to entering the property. The place was exactly as described and looked just like the photos. It had all the amenities we needed and was beautifully located right next to the beach. The central location made it easy for us to access everything we wanted. Warren was a friendly and respectful host, giving us privacy while ensuring we had everything we needed. My family and I truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this beautiful place!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Lauren was very responsive and nice. We loved that the apartment was in walking distance to the sea.

Delightful top floor apartment with uninterrupted views of the Indian Ocean. Come rain or shine, the view is amazing! The aircon helped big time after hot and humid beach experiences. Bathrooms are modern and clean with Hans Grohe taps. UPS, torch and portable LED light came handy during power outage. Loved the extra touches of Cappuccino sachets with sugar and carton of milk. Gin & tonic glasses were a nice surprise and came in handy. Oh, and the Tupperware helped too! The Defy washing machine worked like a charm. Went home with clean laundry, yey! The gas braai gave some hassle, but was immediately attended to by host. Would replace Protex soaps in bathrooms with smaller glycerine soaps or liquid soap. All in all - a great experience and we’ll be back!

We felt right at home. The place was beautiful and clean. We loved that it was right at the beach so we were able to go and watch the sunrise. Definitely will visit again

This place is INCREDIBLE!!!!!! House is spacious and beautiful, full views of the beach. Nice yard enjoy. Everything we needed was within walking distance. We didn't want to leave.

Amazing house, with all you need for a relaxed time on the Dolphin Coast! The views are incredible with a great open Kitchen space which makes you feel part of the lagoon.

This is our second stay here and it will not be our last. From booking to completion, Megan was so helpful and friendly, it felt like a long lost friend. The upgraded furniture is beautiful and comfortable. Sitting on the sofa in the mornings outside having a cup of coffee was the highlight of the trip. The complex is pristine and direct beach access with the sound of waves crashing at your doorstep every night, makes this a no brainer if you are thinking of coming to Ballito. Thank you for the opportunity to stay in your lovely home!!!!

The house is better and more spacious than in the pictures. The location is fantastic, with direct access to the beach, across the road from one of the best coffee shops and nice restaurants. 8 minute drive to big malls. It is managed professionally and everything worked perfectly. Linen, towels and even basic for the kitchen and bathrooms are included. From welcome to staff, everything was excellent. The house has everything as listed, nothing less, nothing more.

we had the most amazing holiday, I have fallen in love with Umdloti. The beach water was lovely and warm, the weather was just perfect and everywhere was so easy to get to. The apartment was just perfect, the views in the morning was to die for. Thanks so much for sharing your home with us, we loved it.

The place was perfect. It met all my needs for my 5 day stay. The unit is very private and extremely comfortable. Dhevandra was very accommodating and very responsive to my requests. I will definitely use this accommodation again.

Once again we had a wonderful time! Right on the beach with private access and a lovely place to stay. It is easy to get to the shops and restaurants. Just so peaceful! Loved our time there.

Very nice place, spacious for 6 people! Kid friendly. We went with our kids aged 1-7, and the place accommodated them well. Nice pool to swim in, with close by beach access.

We stayed for seven days and had a lovely stay. The host was very helpful and the location was perfectly situated near the beach. The space itself was modern and clean however the kitchenette is quite small but was easy to work around. I would definitely recommend.
