Excellent stay—owner very quick to respond. Close to the ski resort. Loved the fireplace. Would stay again.

This was the perfect cozy winter getaway. It looks beautiful in the snow! I loved the fireplace, winter decor, and snacks provided. Since I knew we would be spending most of our time indoors, I really wanted a modern, cozy feel with good nature views and this did not disappoint. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful time! Loved that they had a Christmas tree on, I was a bit sad to leave our tree during the holiday, but Stephanie’s house was beautifully decorated! The house was perfect for our family of four. Could probably fit another small child comfortably as well. We loved that we were able to bring our dog, the fenced in yard was perfect. We would definitely look into renting this house again. Great restaurants that are not too far of a drive. We did not use the grill, but it was a nice amenity to have if you were wanting to eat your meals in the house. Thanks again, Stephanie, have a wonderful new year!!

Our stay at Dorene and John’s was perfect! We traveled the half hour to ski at Nub’s and enjoyed being in the private atmosphere of the cabin. The hot tub topped it all off! We didn’t want to leave!

We absolutely loved this little cabin. It was so close to the lake and a perfect place to retreat to after a day of ice fishing. Especially with the hot tub waiting for us. We enjoyed how private it was even though it was nestled in the midst of several other places. The entrance and hot tub facing the woods with an ample privacy fence made us feel like we had the whole area to ourselves. The entire place was clean and well organized with all of the little creature comforts we could need. The hosts were very helpful and quick to respond. We are considering another trip down!

Wonderful and beautiful stay in a private area of Elmira but close enough to Gaylord and Boyne for activities. Gorgeous cabin with relaxing vibes! Host was proactive with details about our stay and did forewarn us about the abundance of snow they were getting and to make sure we were driving up with a 4x4 vehicle. I will say that despite having an suv in snow mode, we got stuck at the entrance of the driveway for a half hour and used their shovel to dig ourselves out while pushing the vehicle too. For future guests, if you know it's going to snow a lot, come prepared with grips for your tires in case this happens. Besides that adventurous little hiccup, I highly recommend this place and bet it's even more fun in the summer!

This place is a gem! It is clean, quiet and perfect for a girls trip getaway! Super easy to arrive, check out and great extras like spices, utensils, bathroom necessities! We will be back!

Nice, new unit. nice extras like pour over coffee and snacks. very comfortable beds. clean and properly working hot tub. my kids (11, 13) loved the lofts, but I could see those ladder's being an issue for smaller kids.

A great weekend getaway for my fiancés birthday! The cabin was very clean and cozy. We truly enjoyed the location as we live in the city and the silence was so peaceful. Lots of amenities in cabin and updated appliances! Now for you guest, please stop using metal utensils in pots/pans whether at home or here! This AirBnB brought us such peace during our visit to the area. It was nice and quiet. The house is super cute especially when the fireplace is on - we felt very comfortable. The fencing is nice if you have dogs as well. Fire pit was very relaxing! Easy check in/check out process. Thank you for the welcome goodies as well. We found out that Kirkland popcorn is now our favorite :)

Our stay here was very nice! It was very dog friendly and the house was very cozy. You have to keep the doors open in the bedrooms for the heat to radiate properly, but we didn’t mind that. It was a perfect cabin for our trip!

The cutest airbnb! The location was great, beautiful scenery. The house itself was spotless, we had everything we could need and more. Chelsea was extremely helpful and responsive. I would absolutely love to come back in the summer and enjoy the back patio and lake!

Cozy, comfortable cabin for quick weekend trip to Pigeon River Country. Super clean and just what we needed while spending the days on the trail. Easy to get to the High Country Pathway, Lewiston, and Atlanta.

Such a great stay with this host! The space was perfect for what I was looking for. It’s not what you’d need for a group, but if you are traveling solo or with your +1, this place will check all the boxes.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Peace Retreat. The location could not have been better, with Lake Michigan just a walk away, and the beautiful trails for easy walking behind the property. We loved the yard set up, with a campfire ready for us to enjoy, the hammocks, and little paths to enjoy the property. We loved all the extra blankets and quirky furnishings inside the home, and it was perfect for us to enjoy a mother daughter weekend.

Penny was amazing! The cabin was perfect with everything we needed. We arrived way later than what we intended on due to traffic and Penny was in constant communication with us during our trip. She even left the porch and kitchen lights on for us since we were arriving well after dark. Penny lives right next door, so if we ever needed anything, it was taken care of almost immediately. She would even let us know when she was going to be gone for a bit so we were aware. I enjoyed sitting on the back patio each morning with my coffee listening to the birds and other wildlife. So relaxing! My husband and son took the row boat out a few times and went fishing. We even did a bonfire our last night there and made smores. Couldn't have asked for a better or more relaxing stay. Nice cabin, nice sauna, great property.

My children, My husband, and I, had an absolute blast! Richard’s cabin was the perfect place to spend our fall break vacation. It was 20 mins from downtown Grayling and 45 mins from downtown Gaylord, It felt secluded and like home. Would keep in mind for anyone booking that the wifi isn’t the best it’s very spotty but for us we wanted to disconnect a bit, so it wasn’t a big deal. Place was very clean, and host was very helpful. I would 10/10 recommend this place to anyone looking for a private little getaway!

My husband and I loved this little cabin in the woods! Perfect for our relaxing getaway! We even imagined bringing our kids someday. We liked that it was secluded without being extremely far from good eating spots.

This was a fantastic stay. Everything was clean, well equipped, and so comfortable. The scenery was absolutely beautiful as well! Danielle was an amazing host, extremely friendly and very accommodating. I couldn’t ask for a better experience and will definitely be back!

Perfect location for a fall weekend getaway! Cabin was cozy and clean. Outdoor space was great and having firewood for guests to use was a bonus! Will consider staying again, perhaps in another cabin with friends and/or for skiing!
