Beachfront holiday rental in Biscay Bay

This place was truly a gem. The home is old and cute. It’s comfortable and cozy and warm. You can walk to historical sites and a restaurant. The view is unbelievable.

Absolutely stunning location and home. Peaceful, scenic and cozy! Lots of space, a beautiful kitchen and the work deck was so dreamy. Chad was supportive during the stay to ensure everything was perfect. Highly recommend this stay!

Incredible views and a comfortable home with nice sheets, good mattresses, the sounds of the ocean rolling in below all makes for delightful sleeps. Warm up in the hot tub after a day of hiking the east coast trail at the end of the road.

Cozy and peaceful stay. Harvey’s place had everything needed for a great stay and he was quick to respond for any questions we had.

Red House is a solid structure, well-cared for, and the views and location incomparable.--even in a string of foggy days. Decent hike to Ferryland Light, waves all the time, quiet cove all the time, hillsides, archeology and museum next door, as well as fluffy tea biscuits. The Avalon is a giant rock, and this trip focused on the Irish Loop, Puffins (a little early for whales, too warm for bergs), a couple of hikes (La Manche suspension bridge & waterfall included), the Cape Shore, Mistaken Point UNESCO site, Cape St. Mary's Ecological Preserve. Red House was the perfect place to leave in the morning and return to late afternoon/early evening. The wood stove was put to use, and as we weren't there to watch TV, we did not miss that, though Netflix worked fine. WI-FI was a little tricky during a Zoom meeting, but otherwise, no problem. Furniture and bedding comfortable, house clean. Gordon was incredibly available during a challenging travel mishap, and provided good info on the area. A+

My friends and I had a great 2 night stay at Aaron’s place. There were 3 couples. The home was very clean and well stocked with towels and extra linens. The bathrooms were quite clean with an abundant supply of bathroom tissue, hand soap and other essentials. The kitchen was also fully stocked with dishes and pots and pans along with paper towel and kitchen essentials. I would actually say it was one of the best stocked kitchens we have had at a rental. The beds were comfortable and everyone had a great night’s sleep. The view was beautiful overlooking Dildo. We did spend time outside for a barbecue and campfire. The fire pit was available but we had to bring our own firewood. While outside was quiet and private there was little lighting on the back property. Overall I would recommend staying at Aaron’s if you find yourself in the area. We would most certainly stay there again.

Anne’s place is first class all around. A very comfortable home in a quiet community with great views all the amenities are of a quality nature and the place is very well fitted out. Lovely welcome goodies and essentials. Beds are comfy, the appliances are high quality - good bbq!

Our stay was lovely! We were in town for our Nans funeral and we felt right at home, and super comfortable. The view was amazing & the host was extremely flexible with us checking out as well too. Would recommend :)

Perfect place for a family girls night! Our group of ten had a ball. Tons of space, hot tub was great and the beds were comfy! Not to mention the beautiful scenery. Thanks so much!

Host was very responsive. And even though it was more than a couple of hours after checkout, host was very helpful when my daughter realized she had left something behind & we were able to retrieve it.

Wonderful warm welcome from Rodney’s next door neighbour who was out on his porch doing his woodworking projects when we arrived . The location was picturesque out on the balcony . The hot tub was relaxing morning and night watching the harbour life. We had beautiful walks and found a local craft shop just a walk up the road . Rodney left gifts and lots of extras around the kitchen pantry and fridge⚓️ Many thanks for a wonderful stay 😊

Sensational location and accommodation. We feel so lucky to have been able to stay at this lovely place right on the Narrows. We watched ships come and go, walked up to the Old Fort Amherst and enjoyed restaurants and shopping in the city. The space is perfectly appointed, exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated. It was warm and so cosy that we didn’t even have to light the fire. 10/10 recommend.

Fabulous location on the water, close to the highway if you go touring (as we did). Home is even better than the photos- every room is beautiful. Very cosy with comfortable furniture and a highly stocked kitchen. If you wish to cook, this place is great. Quiet street, sunsets are a bonus. Would return in a heartbeat.
