Julie’s place is the perfect home away from home. Actually, even nicer than a home away from home! A great space to bring the kids with everything we needed to spend a nice few days away over New Years. Wouldn’t hesitate to book another stay in the future!

Absolutely amazing experience. I am a frequent traveler and this has to be one of the top places and experiences we have had. The hosts were very responsive to any questions we had, the home was stunning. Very clean, very spacious with no clutter just everything that you need placed elequently. The view from the massive patio was picture perfect. Would definitely recommend this to other traveller's. Such a peaceful experience.

We had a wonderful stay! Even packing up the car in the hailstorm the next morning. lol Even though it’s a very cozy little spot, hopefully next time we can stay in warmer weather. Thank you for everything! Would recommend!

Another lovely winter stay at The Highland's Den; a place I hope to return to many times in the future. I am especially appreciative of the highchair and crib that were provided for my 1 year old daughter. Baby gates for both the upper and lower stairs would be helpful additions in the future. Even despite losing a day of our trip in order to make it home before a storm hit, it was a wonderful experience, as I knew it would be from our previous stay a couple years back. I highly recommend this accommodation to anyone thinking of staying in the area. You won't find a place better than this. Looking forward to visiting again in September when my family visits Cape Breton from Ontario.

Beautiful cottage right off the highway and conveniently located in the Springdale area! Comfy beds , well equipped kitchen and beautiful surroundings! Wonderful stay !

Ann's site description promises a lot and delivers a great deal more! This is one of the best accommodations and friendliest hosts of the global Airbnbs we have experienced. The place is filled with art, a great view, a very comfortable bed, a large bathroom and a complete kitchen. We wish we would have booked Ann's place for another week.
