I had the blessing of visiting Nazir and his lovely family and house boat - it was like a fairy tale from the past life, surrounded by gentle eagles and enchanted sunrise from the mountains. All meals were provided by him and his wife who I already miss very much. A dreamy boat ride takes you to local markets, local artisans and natural surroundings in the woods / lake and temples/ashrams (I recommend ishwar, it’s non-dualistic kashmir shivaism). Very profound conversations, very careful listening and help. I couldn’t asked for more. I will come back, I have a family in Srinagar now and I am bringing you along in my heart! See you very soon!

Easily one of the best stays ever! The hosts were so warm and kind, they really took care of me but Aunty’s food was Unreal! Her kahwa was perfect and those aloo parathas Straight-up legendary with Almond chutney and just when I started craving some South Indian food, she just provided me some killer dishes which were kashmiri and south Indian at the same time so Yum! The room had everything I needed—fast WiFi, a heater, hot water, and a clean bathroom. The blankets were warm and cozy the room had a good view looking the mountains. But honestly, what made it special was just how sweet and caring the hosts were. Can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend!

This is a great place to stay in Srinagar. Located just 200 meters from the main road, it’s easily accessible and surrounded by beautiful, safe surroundings. Though the road is narrow, taxis can reach the property, and a good driver will drop you right at the doorstep. The property is in a posh area and is well-maintained. The host is exceptional—always available, even at midnight, to assist with anything. They offer excellent recommendations on where to eat, what to visit, and guide you on fair prices for autos, cabs, and shikara rides, helping you avoid scams. Highly recommended for a hassle-free stay!

We had booked Abid’s property for our honeymoon in Kashmir after looking at the property photos and most importantly the reviews that were mentioned. We really looked forward to a peaceful stay in Kashmir. Abid had 2 days prior to our arrival gotten in touch with us and explained how to reach, what all can be done and what we were looking forward to. This alone made us feel positive about our choice in this property. We were thrilled to reach and find out that the property was much more than what’s shown in the pictures. Just sitting next to the Dal lake amidst beautiful valley and houseboats surrounding us, we felt right at home. Musa the caretaker for this property was so humble and helpful that we did not feel like we were being greeted by a stranger. The place is as good as it looks in the photos but the hospitality and the care they showed stood out most of all. I wish them a lot of success in the years to come. And if we ever return to Srinagar they’ll be the first choice always
