The tiny house is definitely a tiny house, but that's part of the point. If you see it as a fun quirky thing and want to accept the "limitations" as part of the experience, this is a great place to stay. If you need space to stretch out, wifi, and long hot showers, or if you are not comfortable using a ladder to get to bed or to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, this may not be the right choice for you. The description is upfront about these things, so just read and look carefully and decide if it's right for you. Location-wise, this is as good as it gets if you are planning to spend time at Mad River Mountain. William is responsive as a host. My partner and I had a great time.

We had a great time in this historic cabin and enjoyed the mixture of rustic and modern in the interior! The landscape was so peaceful and there were many great fishing spots nearby (my husband’s favorite part)! My favorite part was being greeted by adorable cats on the front porch each morning, and the scenery of deer crossing the fields. Kate was very responsive when we needed help and we loved our stay!

Bill was an excellent host from the beginning. He answered all my questions and gave very detailed instructions and descriptions. The house was very clean and tidy, made me feel right at home upon arriving. Bill gave excellent suggestions for the local area and was very quick in responding to me. I had no issues at all during my stay and would highly recommend his beautiful lake house to anyone! This host deserves more than 5 stars, and if I’m ever back in the area, he will be the first place I try to reserve.

I stayed a week at this property. This place was perfect for my needs. VERY clean and a very nice space. Clean is very important to me and I didn't even have to use the cleaning supplies I brought. Nice restaurants and shops very close by. There was some noise the first night I was there when the bars closed very early in the AM. This was no problem for me as I just put my earplugs in. Great place to stay and I would definitely stay again!
