Monthly Rentals in Belize

This lovely second-floor apartment is in one of the best locations on the Placencia peninsula. Just steps from the water and one of the best places to eat in Maya Beach (the Bistro). Spectacular views from the large deck, and the apt was comfortable and clean. I've known John and Ellen for over 20 years and was stoked to find out it was their house I was staying in. They're some of the kindest and friendliest people you will meet. Herbert was a great host too, keeping me updated and helping me with requests throughout my stay. I owned a home down the beach from this Airbnb and I felt like I was back home again staying here. The little town of Placencia Village is just a 25-minute drive which you could also bike to. Maya Beach and Placencia Village are the perfect place to get away from it all and truly relax. You will eat well, mingle with the locals, and plan excursions to Mayan temples, snorkeling, scuba diving, jungles, and much more. I highly recommend this gem. Will be back soon!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Los Mangoes. Emily’s house is clean, comfortable, and has everything you need. The location is steps from the beach and great local restaurants and bars. The rest of the village is walkable and even easier with provided bikes. Hopkins is awesome hidden gem and the people are the nicest on the planet!! Hopkins is THE place to slow down and relax.

It was great hosting We met perfectly. Monique was super kind, received us super well, gave us several tips from walks and trusted companies to good restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We will definitely return to Belize to stay longer.

This was a great location to both sides of Hopkins. The cabana was just as described, very comfy and roomier than lots, good amenities, even allowed use of the washer and had clothesline set up, and they had bikes available! The traffic noise during the day was indicative of the all the new construction in the area but the nights were very quiet. Wendy and Bob had very good recommendations of the restaurants and sights in the area. They were readily available for questions and concerns. If you miss the Hopkins turn off from the Southern Highway, do not take the Sittee River Road into Hopkins, turn around!!!!
