Adorable 2 bedroom guest house with pool access

Everything is really good and as expected, but sometimes I need to clean the swimming pool by ourselves due to uncontrollable animal activity. I will definitely consider to stay at this place next time.

Mountain Tree House

FionaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Cockatoos, Rainbow lorikeets, Rosellas and more came to visit on the deck, endless entertainment, pure joy. Beautiful and serene, couldn't have asked for a better place to unwind and relax. If you needed anything Kim and Tom were there to help. Their home is gorgeous, clean, modern, light, airy and recently renovated with high quality fittings. We enjoyed our time so much we were lucky enough to have the opportunity to extend our stay. It really was a most enjoyable and memorable time in Tamborine Mountain.

Stylish and spacious place. Lots of room for 4 people. Close to town and easy access to other parts of the Gold Coast. Airplanes were noisy when they went by, but otherwise the place was quiet and comfortable.

The place is absolutely stunning and awesome location! The gas bottles had run out at 8pm at night and they had someone around the house within the house to replace / fix the bottles! Very impressed and will definitely be back.

Your guide to Beenleigh

All About Beenleigh

Less than 30 minutes from Brisbane’s centre, Beenleigh is a convenient base for exploring the Queensland capital and its surroundings. The town, a suburb of the City of Logan, is most famous for its rum distillery, which was founded in the 1880s and is Australia’s oldest operating distillery. But there’s plenty to do here that doesn’t require a tasting glass. People come to Beenleigh to ride go-karts at Kingston Park Raceway, sample mouth-watering street food at a monthly food truck festival, or go strawberry picking in the nearby farms. You can also browse the local art galleries, and learn more about the area’s Traditional Owners at the Yugambeh Museum, Language and Heritage Resource Centre.

Beenleigh is home to the Global Food Market, a multicultural weekend market where you can sample a very diverse range of produce, including some that may be hard to find in a typical supermarket. The area is also surrounded by plenty of parks and reserves, including the 80-hectare Berrinba Wetlands, perfect for a day of hiking or cycling.

The best time to stay in a holiday rental in Beenleigh

The weather in Beenleigh is temperate year-round. As the town offers a number of summertime activities, it’s usually at its busiest during school holidays, especially when the sun is high. Humidity can be high over summer, and it’s not uncommon to have a thunderstorm after a long, hot day. Autumn is a lovely time to visit; it’s cooler and a great time to explore the outdoors, and there are generally clear skies, with less rainfall than other seasons. Spring is also quite mild, although days can be windier than at other times of year. Even winter is fairly mild in Beenleigh, with temperatures rarely dipping below the 20 degrees Celcius mark in the middle of the day. Winter is also prime time to go strawberry picking.

Top things to do in Beenleigh

There’s a fun playground for kids, an interactive environmental education centre, and plenty of picnic spots where you can spend hours watching the world go by.

Beenleigh Historical Village and Museum

Take a stroll into the past at the Beenleigh Historical Village and Museum, a lovingly restored collection of buildings that house memorabilia, photographs, and artefacts from the 1860s onwards. There are 20 buildings to explore, including an old church, council chambers, general store, school, and post office.

Spirits of the Red Sand

Discover ancient Aboriginal customs and rituals at Spirits of the Red Sand __ a unique theatre and educational facility that was started to support at-risk youth, and provide education around Aboriginal culture.
