I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Ira’s Hideaway. The property exceeded my expectations in every way. The apartment was sparkling clean, beautifully decorated, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The views from the balcony were simply breathtaking, making for the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee or evening wine. One of the highlights was the location. Ira’s Hideaway is about a 15-20 minute drive from Palampur, providing the perfect balance between accessibility and tranquility. It’s situated away from the city’s chaos, offering a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature. Ira, the host, was incredibly welcoming and responsive, providing great local tips and ensuring we had a comfortable stay and they had a cutu doggo as a bonus! ♥️

Our stay at Pala was lovely! Despite a rocky start due to bad weather, we did have a good and peaceful holiday. The house was as lovely as the pictures and waking up to the mountains in our backyard was unreal. By the third day, the little walk up to the home was also easy and enjoyable :) We enjoyed the home cooked made by Seema didi. There are a lot cafes at a walking distance. It is well located - close enough to the civilization, and yet secluded. Rahat was extremely responsive and helpful! He went out of his way to make our stay as smooth as possible! His recommendations were all top-notch. Can’t wait to be back!

The kitchen is a standout – fully equipped and perfect for cooking enthusiasts. Whether it’s a quick meal or a feast, it has everything you need. Dipin, the host, truly elevates the experience. His recommendations for hikes, local spots, and hidden gems made exploring Bir unforgettable. He also offers a unique local food experience, where meals are made with fresh desi ghee, milk, and farm-to-table produce. The food was absolutely delicious – authentic, hearty, and bursting with flavor. The property’s serene ambiance is ideal for solo travelers, couples, or small groups. If you're planning a trip to Bir, this Airbnb is a must-visit for an immersive, relaxing, and enriching stay. Can't wait to return!

The place was as described. Interiors had interesting nooks and was quite comfortable. Approach to the place has a slight complication with the big car to small car switch, but enough advice and support was provided to overcome it. Neighbourhood’s alright, just make sure you are good to walk up inclines and flights of stairs if you are exploring it on foot (we had elderly folks with us, they struggled a fair bit). Of course, what made the place stand out was Kaushal and his Team of Kapil and Raju. Very accommodating and friendly, and quick to help resolve a query or requirement. Even the people they recommend to you (cab drivers and such) were extremely kind and helpful, which just goes to show that they do care about your experience beyond their villa. Overall a very satisfying stay, and would be happy to recommend Forktail to others.
