Fantastic stay. Suburb location, Great for exploring. Everything you could need in one place. Sea, lake, mountains, moors, even found a trig. Our sons loved it. Would definitely return. Home from home with everything you could need for your stay. Beds really comfortable loved the little details and even the fleece blankets for extra comfort. Thank you we will definitely book again.

We had a lovely couple of days at the caravan, the view was lovely. We really enjoyed the sunset and also watching how far the tide went out. As well as watching the ferries come in and go out again. The beds were really comfortable and the heating was easy to use. Having the large grassed area just outside was lovely for the child to run about on but within view. I would recommend for a family and those wanting a step back from the hustle and bustle.

We really enjoyed our weekend stay at Cartmel Cottage. It is a gorgeous, very homely, cosy place that was even better than it looks in the photos. It was lovely to relax and enjoy a cup of tea outside whilst listening to the little river running by. Very peaceful and a great base from which to explore this corner of the Lake District with it's lovely coast & beautiful villages. It is also a couple of minutes drive or a 10 min walk from Holker Hall.

We have just had the most amazing stay at Mite Villa. It was just perfect. Madonna and Tony were such fantastic hosts. Everywhere was spotless, we just couldn’t fault anything. The beds were so comfy, it was the best sleep I’ve had whilst being away from home and the bed linen was gorgeous. The play area was a huge hit for our 7 and 11 year old. They made good use of it regardless of the weather and the river added to the magic. The views from all windows were beautiful. I will miss my morning coffee looking out of the kitchen window to the stunning scenery. The local pub served delicious food, we visited twice during our stay and would highly recommend a meal there. We had full days visiting the ratty railway in Ravenglass , wastwater (which was breathtaking) and Windermere. We could have stayed much longer. Thank you so much, we can’t wait to come back x

Another 5 star review!! As a family of 3 adults and 2 small children we spent a wonderful 4 nights at Jane's lodge. The lodge was immaculate throughout and had everything we could possibly ask for to make our stay just perfect - the welcome basket was a lovely touch too - thank you Jane :) The children (2 and 4) loved the lake and watching the ducks from the lodge. It rained heavy and was very windy when we were there but we had crafts and activities for the little ones and the lodge was so comfortable that it was nice to just sit inside and watch the rain - it definitely didn't ruin our holiday. The area is so peaceful. In between showers we put on wellies and the girls had a great time playing on the little sandy beach area and feeding the ducks. We also made use of the onsite pool, which again the children loved. Jane was a lovely host and communicated well throughout. We are looking forward to planning another visit to Jane's lodge!

I stayed here with my family (two adults, teenager and toddler). The caravan was spotless . Blackpool is only under an hours drive away so perfect for visiting the zoo and water park. on site was good child friendly entertainment which my little one loved. There is also a swimming pool and arcades on site ( at a small extra charge on arrival). plenty do on site and plenty to see and do in the surrounding areas. we would definitely stay here again.

Myself and my family had a wonderful time at Charlottes place. It was in a great location with a lovely view over the lake and the cabin itself was extremely well equipped with everything you would need to enjoy your stay. We enjoyed exploring the area, lots to see and do, Kirkby Lonsdale was our favourite but plenty to come back for. Charlotte was a great host, responding to questions very quickly. We hope to return to this area of the country at some point in the future and would love to stay and Charlottes place.

Delightful caravan . Like brand new . Absolutely spotless and I’m not easy to please with cleanliness . There was nothing to fault at all . We came late at night as we had a disaster with another air B&B . GED responded to us immediately . Within 5 minutes he arrived had the heating on and we were inside . We had no reason to contact ged only to stay longer . I would highly recommend staying here . It’s absolutely beautiful. We brought our own towels and throws for the sofas but everything is provided . 5 star experience . GED was a perfect host . Many thanks . We will stay again and certainly recommend to our friends . 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We absolutely loved our stay here for a family weekend with the kids. So homely and clean, with lovely views straight into the water. Great selection of children’s games and everything you could need during your stay. Would love to return in summer for the water sports! Gorgeous place in a lovely spot. We had a delightful stay. Spacious living area, spacious outdoor decking with everything we possibly could need. The decking had the sun until around 6pm. Can't really fault anything. Vanessa was brilliant. We will be back :-)
