Family-friendly holiday rentals in Bajura

The place was just as listed; very clean; plenty of towels; clean inside and outside; BBQ grill was clean and in working conditions although we did not use it; jacuzzi was available; hoses and shower head available when coming from the beach; the view is priceless; wifi and Netflix were available and working; hot water was available even during the island power outage; a flashlight or other source of alternate light should be provided for emergencies; all kitchen appliances and A/C units for the rooms worked perfectly; the description of the box for the keys need to be clarified; amazing views from the balcony and the back of the house where there are benches for the family; must bring OFF; the beach is clean and spectacular for walks, any sand sports like paddle ball or volleyball, and sunbathing, but not swimmable, especially during this time of the year.

Our group of 4 adults really enjoyed our weeklong stay at Casa del Palmar. We especially appreciated how well stocked the house was with kitchen essentials, towels, games, and movies. We did have some issues with getting the hot tub to heat up, but Sully was incredibly responsive to our messages. AC is only in the bedrooms but that wasn’t a problem at all. The main living area was nice and breezy with the slider open. The deck with the hot tub was perfect for relaxing or enjoying a meal outside with a view of the ocean beyond the trees. The string lights were a nice touch as well. Location-wise, there are several turns on narrow backroads to take to get to the house, but once you’re there you’ll be glad it’s very private and quiet. There is a short hike to a nearby beach, but note that it is a bit steep and not quite a leisurely stroll for all skill levels.

Everything was exactly as listed. Luis was very helpful always. Recommend!

I often don’t write reviews but Edwin’s place is great!! The apartment is well kept and provided beach items and toys which definitely was a plus. The pool and the apartment view is amazing!! The complex security keeps the space safe and the people are very friendly. The complex even had power when most of the island unfortunately faced a power outage. Definitely recommend to anyone who would like to stay on the west side of the island!

My family and I have stayed at several units in this complex over the years. Three days before our arrival, we had a travel disruption that required us to arrive one day earlier than expected. I contacted Bob and he quickly replied that the unit was free and we were welcome to stay. The unit was clean and well equipped. We had clear instructions on how to use everything (it was all labeled!) and were provided a guide weeks before our stay. The beds were comfortable and there were sufficient towels and pillows. The kitchen had stainless steel pans, a blender (for when my daughter asked for a Pina Colada), a Brita filter in the fridge and ice trays in the freezer. If you are heading to Crash Boat, Bob supplies beach chairs, bags, coolers, etc. You also have a wonderful view of the sunset daily as well as the island of Desecho. We didn't want to leave and can't wait to come back. Thank you Bob and Evelyn!

Our host Ray was very informative, responsive, very friendly and accommodating. The house is beautiful, clean, and spacious. Loved the location and its privacy. I highly recommend Ray’s home! Hope the next family will enjoy it as much as we did!

Jose’s home was a SCORE! So close to our two awesome family beaches (crash boat and playa jobas) along with a handful of other great beaches. Very safe neighborhood. Close to grocery stores, banks, gas, markets, restaurants, and more. Even though there is an airport nearby, it’s not very active so you don’t really hear air traffic. Cute little pool and the inside of the home is PERFECT. I want to build a home with the same layout, great spaces. VERY COMFORTABLE beds and everything you could possibly want is available (beach chairs, pack n play, beach toys, car seats, etc.). I have zero complaints and will definitely be booking this spot again.

Tucked away amongst a series of Caribbean bungalows at the Villas Del Mar Hau, was this cute little camper with patio, facing the beach. It is clean, cozy and comfortable . On the property was a pool and a restaurant and the beach was amazing. Split in two by a small sand peninsula, one side was the usual wave filled beach, but the other side was a quiet, calm, waist high crystal clear water . Be sure to stop and see Will and Valaria at the Blue Healing Massage Therapy tent, set up right there on the beach every morning! A must if you are into that whole "pure bliss on a relaxing vacation on the beach" thing. I'd definitely book there again.

Beautiful apartment, within walking distance to the beach. She provided three beach chairs for our use. We loved the roosters next door crowing at 6 AM. We are early risers. We enjoyed feeding the cute neighborhood cats. The hammock and hammock chair were so relaxing in the mornings and evenings. Ileana is a great hostess. Thank you so much!

The property was clean and efficient. The location is ideal as it's situated in the midst of four great Isabela beaches, one of which, Bajuras Beach, is it the end of the street. Shacks Beach-2 minutes; Jobos 5 minutes; Montones less than 10 minutes. Great food everywhere. It has nice amenities such as a small pool and outdoor sitting area, plenty of parking, a quiet street and everything in our unit worked perfectly. When something was needed Julio was immediately responsive and was always a friendly host. This was an excellent value and our dog being welcomed was a major plus. On my next trip to Isabela this will be my first choice. Oh yeah, there's a wonderful group of pickleball players playing four evenings week only about 200 meters down the road!

Recently rented both Units 1 and 2. Both Units were exactly how they appear on the website. Mark was always responsive during the convenient booking process. When we arrived Scott made sure everything was as expected and continued to check in on us during our weeks stay. Location is perfect for all the local surf spots and the beach at the Units is great morning walks and search for Sea Glass! Highly recommend eating next door at Eclipse Restaurant

The place is adorable! Perfect for two people! Justin, the host - total problem solver. I accidentally booked for one night instead of 3 - when housekeeping showed up, I was in shock. I called Justin immediately and within minutes we had a game plan going! Total lifesaver! I asked to purchase 2 of the microfiber towels and they were waiting for me when we got back from town - easy purchase, great quality! They had 2 koozies, bottle opener, beach bag & goodies waiting for us when we got there! In the closet: 2 beach chairs with umbrella, 2 microfiber towels, & a hammock! Absolutely would love to stay there again!

The property sits really close to the heart of Isabela municipality. We stayed 2 days in San Juan area and these was our second stay while in PR. We had such a great time exploring all of the amazingly delicious food spots and beaches nearby(Montones, Jobos and Crash Boat). We spent 4 nights at Costa Bela and it was comfortable and had everything to feel right at home. The host Justin and his crew were so communicative and helpful throughout the entire stay. We will gladly come back in the near future, Costa Bela property is in the process of building a rooftop infinity pool and we would love to see it and enjoy it once project is completed.

We had a lovely stay at Campomar , the pool area is so serene and beautiful. It was a short walk to shacks beach. The bed was comfortable and the villa was perfect for us. We are looking forward to visiting again.

Costa bela thought of everything. We really appreciated the beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler! There were also great quiet common areas with internet to work in.

Only stayed for one night but really enjoyed the accommodations. The unit was very clean and exactly as pictured.

This was our 2nd stay at Villa Shacks and it was just as lovely as our first stay. This time our 3yo son came with and it was a wonderful vacation for us as a family. We loved having the ocean out our door, playing in the pool and making memories as a family. We love the location and beach as it feels private and is very peaceful quiet. Mark & Scott were amazing hosts and super responsive. We can’t wait to come back again.
