Lovely week stay at Mill Cross House! Beautiful place, such picturesque views. The cottage was well maintained and very stylish. Very friendly and informative hosts. Reply very quickly, happy to help and offer suggestions. Lovely local pub just a 5 minute walk, delicious food and drink. So pretty as well! Fantastic location, very easy to get to any beach, country walk, boutique shops and nearby town or city. Highly recommended!

We had a beautiful stay here and Caroline was so approachable and friendly. She’s really thought of everything you might need for your short stay and the added extras of bread, eggs and butter was a special touch. Such a special shepherds hut in a truly gorgeous location. We’d definitely happily stay here again.

We had a great time at the cottage, the river and gardens are absolutely beautiful! Denise was a great host full of information about activities, where to eat etc. There is a pub only a few minutes walk away where we had the best steak pie. The cottage was cosy, comfortable and had everything you needed with lots of added quirky and interesting touches. The noise from the road can be intrusive but we accepted it for what it was and enjoyed our stay in the beautiful country side.

My fourth stay so I'm running out of new positive things to say. As well as being a lovely, clean and spacious place, with great hosts, it's conveniently located for great days out in all directions, whatever takes your fancy: Dartmoor Zoo, beautiful and wild beaches, National Trust properties such as Saltram, naval Plymouth and alternative Totnes, plus Dartmoor on your doorstep, of course.
