House holiday rentals in Avalon

Place was great for our trip, very close to beach (less than a 10 min drive) and so close to shopping, basically shares a parking lot with a Target and other stores. Very convenient. Thank you!

Great place to stay. Located in a cul-de-sac, nice and quiet. Location with great, 20 minutes and we were either in Disney, the beach or shopping. With 4 girls, definitely a thumbs up to having mirrors in the rooms. Most Airbnbs don’t have mirrors other than what’s in the bathrooms. Will definitely stay again.

Kim & Hoa were great hosts and addressed all questions and requests we had in a timely manner. I stayed with my colleagues for a working / retreat weekend and the house had everything we needed with plenty of space. We would've loved to take advantage of the pool more but we were busy during the day when the sun was out. The location is perfect if you love Vietnamese food - it's located within a mile of Little Saigon.

We had a great stay in Costa Mesa! The house was super spacious and comfy, and the outdoor areas + pool and spa gave us the indoor/outdoor living vibe of SoCal. The multi-port charging stations on the nightstands were much appreciated, and heated toilet seats were a nice surprise! Detergent was provided in the laundry room which came in handy. The quiet location at the end of the street gave us lots of privacy and our dogs loved sniffing around in the yard. Kameko was super responsive and helpful with any questions we had. We would come back any time!

Me and my family had a great time. The pool was a lot of fun and the kids loved it. It was a little cold in the afternoon but the pool was really warm. I also am very particular about the bed I sleep in and prefer my own. However, the king bed in the main bedroom was really comfortable. Probably the best I’ve had at an Airbnb. It was close to Disneyland which is why we went and there was a lot to do in the house. A lot of people are complaining in their reviews about the house needing to be updated or that it was dirty but I think the place was perfect. We also ended up getting into town a little earlier than we were expecting and the owners let us check in early at no additional cost. I’ll stay there again next time we visit Southern California.

Had a wonderful stay at DJ and Brandee’s home last weekend while my mom and I were in town for the Surf City Half Marathon! The house is gorgeous and comfortable with fantastic amenities - everything was as described. It’s a short walk to downtown and was perfect location for us to get to the starting line. The pool and their big comfy couch were perfect for our post-race recovery. The kitchen is awesome; I loved cooking in it. DJ and Brandee were fantastic hosts — always responsive and kind. Really appreciated their hospitality and highly recommend staying here if you get the chance. Thank you!!!

Beautiful place to be!! Jennifer was soooo helpful and responsive, probably the most I’ve ever had with an airbnb host! It rained most of the days we were in California but thankfully the house was so cozy we had a wonderful time even with the rain. The house is in a peaceful neighborhood, the backyard is calm and has birds that come and sing, lots of supplies in the kitchen, and the baby supplies were helpful - pack and play, high chair, kid friendly plates and bowls. 15 min to downtown Disney and 25-35 min to a few different beaches. 5 min to a park with a playground where our son loved watched the ducks. Would stay here again! Highly recommend :)

We tried Airbnb before in FL and were disappointed in the reality vs the ad. That’s not the case here. The home was as advertised and very clean and comfortable For our family of 5. Shayla was super responsive leading up to our trip and when we where hear. We will absolutely book again for our next Disney Adventure

Excellent stay, probably the cleanest Airbnb I’ve stayed in. Only a 6 minute walk from the ferry. Everything in Avalon is walking distance. Definitely recommend. I can’t tell you how amazing it was to get checked in early. With three kids and luggage I was so appreciative. My only suggestion would be an extra fitted sheet for the pull out bed downstairs. It wasn’t anything major and I’m sure if I had asked for one they would have brought one. Super responsive. Other than that, we had what we needed in the house. Thank you!!

We enjoyed our stay with such gorgeous views from balcony. The golf cart was perfect for getting around the island. House was comfortable and had everything we needed.

It was a very nice place! Only issues were the hill and the creaky day bed. Overall, it was definitely a home away from home!

Perfect location on the Island. Minute walk to the beach and other surrounding activities!! My mom has a bad back so this was the perfect location with no hills to protect her.

Comfortable place for the six of us (Mom, Dad and 4 adult children in their 30’s). SPECTACULAR VIEWS! They suggested getting a taxi from the ferry, but we decided to walk and it was very doable. The golf cart was included which was really fun and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again! Really appreciated the very responsive host!

Great little cottage in Avalon for 1-2 people. Property/home owned by the same family for 100+ years and obviously well loved. Enjoyed seeing the pictures and history of the family and the house, as well as several painting of Avalon in the front room. House is well maintained and recently updated. Very comfortable and loved the front porch!

Charming house with great community spaces (living and dining room areas). Well appointed kitchen with all the tools our race group needed to prepare our night before meal. Second bathroom is a bit tiny but it gets the job done! We were able to comfortably accommodate 7 folks plus some additional friends who joined us for an early pre-race dinner that were staying elsewhere on the island. Quiet area a few blocks from the restaurants so minimal 'people' noise despite being 2nd from the corner. Well priced. 7 minute walk to the start line of the Avalon 50k/50M and Half Marathon races.

Charming, clean home in mostly quiet area. The house has everything you would need. The price is reasonable compared to motel lodging. Would consider stay there again!

We came for Spring Break with our two kids and Grandparents. The place was perfect for our needs. They switch golf carts to better accommodate our size and that was vey thoughtful. Each room had a nice TV which was nice. We really loved the outdoor patios and the Kitchen was nicely stocked. We will definitely be returning and Catalina Vacations was great to work with.

Had a great stay and beautiful views from the living room/ kitchen space. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies and all spaces very clean and tidy. Super close to the grocery store and downtown area. Initially, we had some challenges using a few amenities but they replied immediately and sent over maintenance staff within 20 min! We really appreciated the prompt responses and helpful staff.

The house, cleanliness, and location are great!! The place has FAR more family and kid-friendly amenities than they mentioned. We especially loved the toys like giant jenga and wooden connect four. The room with the Murphy bed and washer/dryer has space for a pack n play, which was great!! The house is on a decent hill, but it’s nice to have the exercise and really most of Avalon is pretty hilly. The location along the boardwalk is great though!

This location was great for our group! Nice and easy walk to the main street. Quiet neighborhood for the most part. The host was quick and responsive to all of our questions and concerns. They were also very helpful with accommodating to our needs. I would highly recommend booking with them!

Super walkable, right down the street from boardwalk and local grocery store.
