Moana and Rafael were amazing hosts - they bent over backwards to make sure we had a good stay at their place. Their house is beautiful and fully equipped with everything you might need. We loved swimming in the pool and eating breakfast at their beautiful kitchen island. We stayed here with our whole family - including 2 kids under 4 and grandma. It was a hit for everyone! Thanks again for an amazing stay!

Our stay was absolutely beyond amazing! The neighborhood was beautiful and incredibly convenient with Target and restaurants just minutes away. We truly enjoyed the privacy the home offered, along with the delicious juicy oranges and the incredibly comfortable couches. The house was spotless, and I felt completely at ease throughout our stay. Thank you for being such a wonderful host and creating such a memorable experience for us.

Had a wonderful stay at DJ and Brandee’s home last weekend while my mom and I were in town for the Surf City Half Marathon! The house is gorgeous and comfortable with fantastic amenities - everything was as described. It’s a short walk to downtown and was perfect location for us to get to the starting line. The pool and their big comfy couch were perfect for our post-race recovery. The kitchen is awesome; I loved cooking in it. DJ and Brandee were fantastic hosts — always responsive and kind. Really appreciated their hospitality and highly recommend staying here if you get the chance. Thank you!!!

This house was amazing! Even better than the pictures! Dimitris was great with communication and providing suggestions for the area. Sean (co-host) was on site when we arrived and walked us through everything in the home. The entire stay he was just a text or phone call away and it was great! Only slight issue was the previous guest smoked in the home so the floors were a little sticky and dirty from whatever the cleaners used to get rid of the smoke odor. Besides that, the place was clean and perfect! They even offered a bottle of wine for the floor troubles (thank you!) - we enjoyed the pool the 1st day we were there and did not need the heater. But we felt it the days after, and I recommend purchasing the heating if you plan to use it during this time of year. (we only used the pool the 1st as we were out exploring the other days). This was a great stay and highly recommend!! Thank you Dimitris & Sean!!

We had a great time at Shayla's. It has all the amenities we needed. Pool isn't heated but that didn't stop our kids from jumping in. Would stay here again if come back down this way.

The accommodations were excellent. From the time we entered the courtyard with the pool, which had a feeling of safety and security, to entering the home we felt like we had "arrived home". The kitchen is very spacious and great for cooking. We had a beautiful family and friends dinner, had all the room we needed to serve at the island and be seated around the table. The bathrooms were clean and simple. The beds were more than comfortable with the number of options gracious. The living room lighting options could be set bright or low for ambiance. Parking was easy once we got the hang of it. Often times we found a spot right in front of the house, in addition to one car parked in the alley. The simple decorations and simple kitchen made our time relaxing. We walked easily to great breakfasts, robust coffee and steak dinners. Main Street has more than enough options for food and several shops to browse. All within a block from the house. The beach and pier were easily accessed too!

Excellent stay, probably the cleanest Airbnb I’ve stayed in. Only a 6 minute walk from the ferry. Everything in Avalon is walking distance. Definitely recommend. I can’t tell you how amazing it was to get checked in early. With three kids and luggage I was so appreciative. My only suggestion would be an extra fitted sheet for the pull out bed downstairs. It wasn’t anything major and I’m sure if I had asked for one they would have brought one. Super responsive. Other than that, we had what we needed in the house. Thank you!!

We enjoyed our stay with such gorgeous views from balcony. The golf cart was perfect for getting around the island. House was comfortable and had everything we needed.

We enjoyed our stay. In particular, we really liked the puzzles they had available.

Perfectly located only a 2 minute walk to the beach, restaurants/bars, and entertainment. (Our favorite was the mini golf and submarine) The house looks like is has been recently remolded and well cared for. Bed's and living room furniture were very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this home. Checkout was a breeze and a very short walk to the fairy back home. Thank you again for the awesome experience.

Comfortable place for the six of us (Mom, Dad and 4 adult children in their 30’s). SPECTACULAR VIEWS! They suggested getting a taxi from the ferry, but we decided to walk and it was very doable. The golf cart was included which was really fun and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again! Really appreciated the very responsive host!

Our first Thanksgiving friends gathering, the house is very comfortable, tidy and clean, and the items are fully prepared, friends eat and talk on the balcony, enjoy the warm sunshine and the ray of the sea, feel the beauty of life, the location is unique, walking, activities are extremely convenient, next time will definitely come again

Great little cottage in Avalon for 1-2 people. Property/home owned by the same family for 100+ years and obviously well loved. Enjoyed seeing the pictures and history of the family and the house, as well as several painting of Avalon in the front room. House is well maintained and recently updated. Very comfortable and loved the front porch!

Charming house with great community spaces (living and dining room areas). Well appointed kitchen with all the tools our race group needed to prepare our night before meal. Second bathroom is a bit tiny but it gets the job done! We were able to comfortably accommodate 7 folks plus some additional friends who joined us for an early pre-race dinner that were staying elsewhere on the island. Quiet area a few blocks from the restaurants so minimal 'people' noise despite being 2nd from the corner. Well priced. 7 minute walk to the start line of the Avalon 50k/50M and Half Marathon races.

Our stay in Catalina was so beautiful and peaceful. if you are looking for a getaway to forget your cares then look no further.

We came for Spring Break with our two kids and Grandparents. The place was perfect for our needs. They switch golf carts to better accommodate our size and that was vey thoughtful. Each room had a nice TV which was nice. We really loved the outdoor patios and the Kitchen was nicely stocked. We will definitely be returning and Catalina Vacations was great to work with.

Had a great stay and beautiful views from the living room/ kitchen space. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies and all spaces very clean and tidy. Super close to the grocery store and downtown area. Initially, we had some challenges using a few amenities but they replied immediately and sent over maintenance staff within 20 min! We really appreciated the prompt responses and helpful staff.

Our stay was great & everything we wanted in a vacation home! Very easy access and location was great with an insane view. High In the hills but still less than 5 min drive to the main town. Appreciated that the host let us arrive earlier and was proactive on when it was ready for us. Even though the walk isn’t bad, the Golf cart was soo necessary. Only thing is one of the front wheels felt like they were loose or wobbley. Regardless was still drivable but you can tell when going down hills. The kitchen was solid & so nice! Just the dishwasher wasn’t working so we weren’t able to use that and had to hand wash but not a big deal. Living room was great as well and the couch was so comfy and fit 5 people comfortably. The remote back was missing but not a problem. Overall, the best airbnb option we could’ve chose. You truly can’t beat the included golf cart. I recommend taking it to descanso and spending some time by the water. Food and drinks are solid. Thank you!

The house, cleanliness, and location are great!! The place has FAR more family and kid-friendly amenities than they mentioned. We especially loved the toys like giant jenga and wooden connect four. The room with the Murphy bed and washer/dryer has space for a pack n play, which was great!! The house is on a decent hill, but it’s nice to have the exercise and really most of Avalon is pretty hilly. The location along the boardwalk is great though!

Our stay was fantastic! The place was clean, cozy, and in perfect location with amazing view. The host was friendly and made check-in a breeze. We loved waking up to ocean views and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway!
