Monthly Rentals in Auchencairn

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Liz's place. The cottage is lovely and was beautifully clean. We felt very welcome and loved the yummy biscuits. The garden is really nice, very peaceful with an amazing view. Liz is a great host.

We just spent a beautiful, long weekend at the Steading. Sadly, our plans had to change last minute, so we didn't have our dogs with us, but with the farm dogs eager to greet us, we didn't miss them too much! My children are 10 & 8 and on the cusp of preteen angst, so this break was just what we needed to reconnect and allow them a chance to 'rewild' and just be little again. They had an absolute blast with all the animals, and the boat on the pond was such a special treat! My parents enjoyed the tranquillity and the peace, which has been so missed in recent times due to various health issues. The Steading itself was just perfect for us, plenty of room and had everything we needed. Ciara thinks of everything! We'd like to thank the family for their hospitality and their local recommendations. Particularly Ernespie Farm, with a play area that is perfect for both small and bigger children. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Castle Creavie and Ciara. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

When we walked in we all were blown away with the interior. Decorated and laid out to make us feel at home as soon as we walked in. The view, was even better. You can see for miles. Rolling hills, trees and water. On arrival we were greeted with welcome gifts for the children and the wife was happy with a bottle of wine. I'd recommend and even return. Thank you.

We had a wonderful stay – it truly doesn't get much better than that! We travel a lot and always choose beautiful accommodation but this place was more you could wish for, one of the best ones we've stayed at. The house is pristine, well-equipped and the views are absolutely breathtaking. It is beautifully designed, stylish, cosy and warm. Although the house is very big, it felt perfect even for just the two of us and our pup. The hosts prepared a basket for furry visitors which contained a few essentials, as well as a bag of nice treats and - the best part - a little bone-shaped collar tag which said "I'm on holiday in Orroland!" (with the host's phone number). Our dog had a blast, he spent so much time outside, lying in the sun and chasing the lawn mower robot! It's so nice that Melinda allows dogs because the house is very well-kept and I imagine many other owners would not allow dogs. We also had the pleasure of meeting Melinda's lovely parents in law. Hope to be back soon!
