If we could give Jagath and his family more than five stars, we would! He was the best host we’ve ever had—like a real-life genie, making every plan happen effortlessly. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. He recommended a great kottu dinner at Canal Village, followed by a cultural show before an early night, as Jagath had arranged a 4:45 AM tuk-tuk to Sigiriya Rock for sunrise. After breakfast, we explored Dambulla Caves, then enjoyed a cattle cart ride, a boat trip on Hiruwadunna Lake, and a hands-on Sri Lankan cooking experience. The day ended with a relaxing herbal oil massage, steam hut, and the best tea ever. A BBQ dinner at Deville, with a tuk-tuk ride home, was the perfect finish. Sitting on the porch, surrounded by wildlife, we felt truly at peace. Jagath’s wife spoiled us with delicious homemade snacks, an amazing breakfast, and the best coffee. Their warmth and hospitality made this stay unforgettable. If you’re in Sri Lanka, stay here—you won’t regret it!

This is a great address! The rooms are spacious, clean with all comforts. Madu and her team greets you and helps you plan your stay. Very good breakfast. Good dinner and if you want to change the kitchen there are good restaurants in Sirigya, not far away. I really recommend this address.

If you are still considering which accommodation you should book in the Sigirya/Dambulla area, book this accommodation !! The best stay we had in Sri Lanka. The place is clean and cozy. The lake at the back of the house is beautiful at sunset. But the best part is Lahiru and his family. His mother makes a wonderful breakfast and everyone is very accommodating and friendly. We felt welcome from the beginning. Lahiru and his father drove us everywhere and picked us up for a top price and they were always reachable. (I recommend the tour to Ritigala with Lahiru, that was beautiful !) We will definitely come back if we come back to Sri Lanka. Thank you for everything !

We will never forget our wonderful stay at Aaryaa's gorgeous home. Aaryya and Rajan were so welcoming, helpful and kind, organising tuk tuk drivers and a guide for us and giving us all sorts of useful tips and information. We really enjoyed chatting with Aaryya who is well travelled and interesting. Rajan cooked sumptious Sri Lankan breakfasts and showed us around the beautiful garden. We would recommend getting up super early to see the sites of Anuradhapura as there are many to see with the day ticket and it gets very hot. Do not hesitate to book this lovely place.

Friendly staff and worth for the money

We highly recommend staying with Salinda and his family, they are very friendly and helpful, they offered us a very good breakfast and dinner, they provided equipment to wash clothes after safari, which in the way they organize at a good price, so I recommend using the service. The rooms were clean, the air conditioning worked flawlessly.

Great place to stay! Definitely reccomend!

We loved staying here. It was really back of beyond. Surrounded by really beautiful countryside it was a really relaxing stay. The staff looked after us really well, and were so helpful, and the food was fantastic. Just the place to stay if you want to get away and escape to the countryside.

Gayan's parents were lovely, they were kind, generous and very accommodating. It was the perfect spot for us. They had parking, was clean, had a net, was central to all tourist locations, gave us local tips, provided a delicious breakfast and were in general very lovely. Cannot recommend this more.

Namal is very kind and his connections with the Locals help a lot. Even without good WiFi or connection He Managed to help us get everything done that we wanted to do. Breakfest and dinner were very good

Centrally located. Walkable distance (3 min) to the bus stops to catch a bus. There is a Cargills around 5-7 min walk where you can find mosquito spray if that is bothering you. Wifi can be slow or not working during some time of the day. Walls are a little thin. The host was very hospitable. Breakfast was included. Good prices for what it is.

We had a great time, a place to stay in the middle of nature! Clean and large room! We felt like we were at home, the host and his family were always available and helped us plan all the activities! Accommodation is in a beautiful location at night we would walk to eat! Breakfast prepared with great care and kindness! I recommend this place! Great experience I will definitely be back!
