Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Andros

we had a great time at George's place. the apartment is as described and shown in the photos. it is located in a quiet area and peace reigns supreme. the outdoor space overlooking the sea is really nice! George was a very helpful and discreet host.

We loved our stay here! The proximity to the beach and walk ability to town were the two main factors for us booking this location. Once we got there we realized how idyllic and peaceful this truly was for us. A perfect way to end a busy and adventurous honeymoon with some rest and relaxation!

This 1830’s mansion was a real treat to live in for 10 days. It’s right in the middle of Chora Andros, which to us is where you want to be on the island. The village is beautiful, with a central marble pedestrian street with nice neoclassical architecture. There are a couple of beaches that are walkable from the village, and quite a few restaurants, and shops about 100 ft from the front door. The house has a nice small kitchen, with everything you need. The view from the veranda is really nice for a glass of wine in the evening. If you need anything, Louisa is very quick with her response. I highly recommend staying at Louisa’s!

very nice apartment in a good location

Our stay at Olea cottage was nothing but magical; the view of the sea, the chirping cicadas, the rush of the wind in the olive trees and the glorious sunset and starry skies. As we were just the two of us, we only used the top floor of the cottage, providing everything we needed. To wake up every morning with such a gorgeous view of the sea is just so relaxing and serene. You are surrounded by nature and peace. The owner recommended some very nice restaurants and places to visit and was a joy to talk to and not invasive at all. Tip: Make sure to check out the magazines on the coffee table as they have loads of brilliant inside information on Andros. We hope to return soon to Andros and Olea cottage as it has captured our hearts.

Dora’s place is very comfy, peaceful and private with a gorgeous view. We felt at home immediately and loved waking to the sun rising over the Aegean. A few minutes’ drive and you’re at low-key Gialia beach with crystal clear water. Just a single row of sunloungers at €8 a pair and a pretty cafe behind. Drive a few more minutes’ and you have the hustle and bustle of Chora. Dora’s place is a unique spot with easy access to beach, town and walks. Great value.

You have to make some effort to get there because located high on the mountain but then you really have something. A cool and authentic house. Tastefully decorated and all the most important things are provided. Most importantly: the view and the absolute silence. I believe there are few places where you can still experience this. This is one of them. Didn't do anything about the activities, like reading a book, that I had planned. Just “being” and looking at the mountains, sea and the stars are the big plus and to which this stay invites you to. Beach is at your doorstep (just descending the mountain) There is a good tavern nearby (15 min walk). Furthermore, you will need a car. If you would like to leave:) This address would like to keep you secret.

We had a great time at Peter's house. Petros is very welcoming and helpful! He had taken care of everything necessary and not! The house was very beautiful, clean and nice location with amazing views. Our stay and the holidays were very beautiful. We'll be back!! ;)

Valentini is an excellent host, responsive, friendly and helpful. Her place is very nicely done, maintaining an authentic vibe. Close to the Chora of Andros but also quite private - thoroughly recommended!

We were pampered with all kinds of treats,sweets and refreshments. Upon arrival, a well-stocked fridge with all kinds of drinks including beer and wine. There was also water for the first days. In between, delicious cakes were baked. It was cleaned regularly and beds were changed . The cottage is close to bars and restaurants. Walking back home was quite spicy. Not suitable for people with walking difficulties. We 70 plus, could just handle it. The apartment is really great, we slept wonderfully in the big bed. We enjoyed the beautiful view of the sea.

Everything was perfect , the apartment impeccable, the sublime terrace, the royal location, the exceptional view but above all a host of unparalleled kindness and dedication. A huge thank you to Nikos .

Theofilos was very kind and responsive. The house is in a good location at the centre of Batsi and was very clean. However, there was some noise at the night because of the clubs nearby. Although it is highly recommended!

A wonderful stay, a perfect host, kind, attentive, helped and recommended us. The service is dreamy, daily cleaning, and changing towels and sheets if necessary. This makes your stay even more relaxing. The apartment is very nice, with attention to detail and super clean. Slightly hard beds but with all the pillows available, we slept comfortably! Perfect location, close to get there with a pleasant walk in the center of Batsi, but far enough from the confusion to sleep peacefully and to enjoy a wonderful view. We had a great time. The apartment was in an excellent location and was clean and tidy. Katerina is a lovely hostess. She made us egg cookies and it made us feel very good. We will definitely get there again

The host, mother of Dimitrios, welcomed my familiy with domestic sweets and three baloons in the room for the children. Super frindly and warm. Always giving some sweets to little ones, which they adore. The room was clean and the bed sheets and towels were changed every three days. The beach is in walking distance, with natural shadow and the water is not too deep, so it is perfect for the families. Wonderful stay at Dimitrios place that I would always recommend.

I had a wonderful stay, the view was beautiful and everything was walkable from trails to beaches to restaurants and stores. It’s located 30 seconds away from a small beach perfect for early morning and afternoon swims. The host is very helpful and very responsive. The bus schedule is slightly hard to follow but if you ask around you can figure it out. The apartment met my needs very well.

We loved our stay in the historic mansion! The location was amazing and the space is lovely to spend time in. The beach across the bay from the house was great with kids and it was wonderful to be a staircase away from all the shops and restaurants of the Main Street. Alexandros was very helpful and knowledgeable - we highly recommend his place if you are ever headed to Chora.

Our month here was absolutely magical. We loved the (three!) balconies and having the sea so close we could hear the waves. The house is spacious and well-equipped, with fast and reliable WiFi, and Doros was super responsive and helpful!

Great location with top views of the island’s harbour. The decoration was great and included everything that might be needed during one’s stay. The location was really easy to find, 2 minutes by car from the harbour, so there were many options to eat, drink or shop. The host was very responsive and friendly. Overall, we had a great time!

From this beautiful studio you can look out at the sea, walk to the beach for swimming whenever you like. There is a perfect sea breeze to make the temperatures so comfortable. Costa and his ‘dream team’ were so welcoming and helpful. The sunsets are the best on the Island, I cannot recommend this lovely peaceful spot more.

We stayed in Avrilia's flat early January when everything is closed for tourists, thanks for the pizzeria on Jan2! Avrilia's flat is just absolutely well laid out and comfy despite the cold in the evening. Avrilia made everything possible so that we were comfortable (hot water, kitchen, heating, sleepers!) and was there to welcome us, January and brave tourists coming to Andros. I recommend and would love to come over again, Andros is worth more than one visit, especially if you stay at Avrilia's in Chora!

Afroditi’s place was perfect for our stay in Andros. The house had great views of the bay and town below. Although the house sits up on a hill, there are convenient paths down to town that take 7-10 mins to walk. The view is why you stay here, plus comfortable rooms and plenty of space. I would recommend this place to anyone.
