Family-friendly holiday rentals in Anaehoomalu Bay

The house was beautiful inside and out. My son loved the pool, which was the perfect temperature. The kitchen was well stocked and the house provided plenty of space for everyone.

Great place for family of 4. We felt completely at home. Would have liked a larger lanai but was fine for the 4 of us. Very nice to supply beach chairs. Beds were very comfortable and loved having the ceiling fans. Kitchen was nicely stocked

There's a reason (actually, a lot of reasons) this place is rated so highly. The house is beautiful and comfortable. We had a few concerns about staying so far from Kona, but it ended up being one of the best things about our trip. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful, and there's a grocery store, great food and even shave ice within 5 minutes of the house. The kitchen is very well equipped and clean, and so we ate in fairly often. An unexpected perk was all of the beach toys available to use in the laundry area. So nice to have! The caretaker downstairs is also very quiet, and super friendly. And Mikael is a fantastic host. Yes, there are signs all over the house. Some are helpful and some feel excessive. And it can get pretty warm when it's hot outside (90 in November was surprising!), but neither of those things are enough to remove even half a star from this experience. We've already recommended the house to friends, and will definitely stay here again on our next visit.

Sandra's place brings healing. It is beautiful, quiet, and serene. The views are lovely of ocean below, and the wind blows quietly through bows of citrus, avocado, and palms. There are likely multiple Walden Ponds on the Big Island of Hawaii, but this is one of them. Tranquility reins at this property.

We really enjoyed our stay!! The home is spacious and beautiful. We loved to cozy feel and Hawaiian decor. Right away we felt at home with the way the house is set and up and plenty of beach gear and toys! Seth was extremely helpful with communication and allowed us a late check out which was so helpful . We would love to stay again!

It was our dream Destination. Best vacation ever. So nice well organized and kind hosts! Beautiful surrounding. Ideal weather. We did not want to drive a car anywhere as there was so much to do. Very relaxing. Stunning views.

Our stay was great. The location is fantastic, with several great shops and restaurants close by. The ocean view off the balcony was great. The place itself is awesome, we had everything we needed for a great vacation. Thanks again for hosting!

The location is a great spot for a Kona vacation! The house is very clean, we stayed for a month and the cleaning crew came 3 times to keep the house spotless. We spent every night on the large porch grilling, eating and playing cards.

J-M's cottage was an oasis of tranquil greenery, frogs, birds, views, and peace. The cottage is charming, spotless, and has a view of the ocean and surrounding garden. The kitchen and bathroom are well appointed and the bed was luxurious. Being away from the hustle of town was lovely for us, yet access to town was extremely easy. The hosts were amazing and welcoming. Thank you for sharing this piece of paradise with us!

A great condo for your vacation. Walk to the beach and nearby resorts. comfortable furniture and beds. Well equipped kitchen. Great birding from the patio. Close to the community pool and hot tub. The beach club access is a nice benefit.

Jason’s condo was as advertised. Well equipped, clean and spacious with a great view! He was very easy to communicate with. I highly recommend staying here.

This was our third time back and Laura’s place is beginning to feel like our home away from home! It is cooler than downtown making it feel perfect outside and in. The view is lovely as well. There was plenty of room for my 4 adult sons to spread out and stay content. I would definitely come back!

Lorelle was an awesome host. We enjoyed staying here. Such a beautiful part of the world and her place is convenient to get around. We also appreciated her friendliness, her wealth of island knowledge, and her recommendations of places to visit. Also the fresh eggs were delicious! Hope to visit again!

Great spot with a good view of Mauna Kea from the cottage. Quiet and peaceful in a convenient location.

We love this home so much! This was our second stay at this location and it is just so beautiful and peaceful. The hosts are amazing and the home is immaculately clean and extremely well appointed. Everything we needed was available upon arrival and the proximity to shopping, restaurants and activities are all within walking distance. We booked tons of tours and activities this trip and all were a short drive away. We highly recommend this location! We spent so much time indoors this trip just relaxing, watching movies, cooking and eating. This is one of our favorite places to stay and simply cannot wait to return again and again.

We had a fabulous stay. The condo was spacious, quiet, comfortable and convenient. We loved all the beach equipment that was available (chairs, umbrella, totes, bags, cooler, boogieboard, snorkle gear). The bed was comfortable. The pool, hot tub and workout area were great. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking and grilling supplies. Our host gave us a great recommendations on local attractions (the drive up to Hawi and the Pololu lookout were definitely worth it. Take pleanty of water). A great host and fantastic place to stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Cory’s house in Waikoloa village. It is located in a peaceful suburban setting, about 25 minute drive from Hapuna beach. The house is very comfortable and well decorated, with practical amenities, kitchen equipment, and all that is needed for the beach! We really felt at home!

It was perfect for our family of 6. The highlight was the private beach club. It was so safe and had great snorkeling

This house was so nice. The private pool was awesome and they had everything you could want for the beach. Would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay! We loved how it was just a short walk to the beach or pool. Brad was a wonderful host, incredibly welcoming and responsive. The space was perfect for our family. We loved the trunk full of beach toys, the lanai, being able to cook & do laundry.

The Pagoda House is a destination in itself! We explored the island from there, but also spent time just hanging out in the garden and pool. GORGEOUS! It was well appointed for our extended family gathering.

Yumi and Gen were accommodating. The originally booked timeshare resort was not available, so they found another nearby location. Communication was easy. There was a slight check in issue at resort - my name was spelled incorrectly, but with confirmation number we were fine. Wished the resorts rooms had better sound proof walls, better mattress, sheets and pillows. Also air conditioning was an extra $13/day charge at the resort. But the hosts cannot change the amenities of the resort. All in all, good stay for our needs to explore Kona! Friendly hosts!
