Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Amerongen

This is a great place for people who want a quiet and peaceful place away from the city. The bungalow is surrounded by beautiful trees with natural parks in the area. The Lunteren town is 10min drive with all the amenities (bakery, supermarkets, etc). Jasper, our host, has organized things in a way that made the stay comfortable, right upon arrival. He was very helpful on phone and whatsap as we struggled a bit to find the place.

This home has really everything you could want, and is the ideal base for exploring the activity-rich region. Quietly located in a wooded area, tip top in order, it was perfect for our family. In addition, there was the unparalleled hospitality that the owners showed us. This made our first visit to the region a real pleasure. We will definitely come back!

We felt very comfortable at the place. The hot tub was already prepared when we arrived which was great! Communication with Samantha was also very pleasant: prompt and totally friendly answers to our questions. We can definitely recommend the cottage!

We stayed for a lovely long weekend. Enjoyed a morning walk, the sauna and the hot tub. When there was a need for contact, Ine responded very quickly.

I had a great stay! Nilo was super friendly, kind, and very helpful throughout. The check-in process was easy and smooth. The place looked exactly like the pictures and matched the description. Everything was clean and comfortable, and we didn’t have any issues at all.

My husband, the dog and I really enjoyed the comfortable and cozy house. Everything was just newly renovated. It was still fresh outside, but the dog could scramble around in the garden, because there was a fence around. In the area we made beautiful walks. We really had a wonderful time.

The house was just as clean and beautiful as on the pictures – everything super well maintained and welcoming. The communication with Remco was very friendly and fast from the beginning. The location is beautifully quiet, perfect for relaxing. The absolute highlight was definitely the hot tub. Even when a little mishap happened to us in the house, Remco was incredibly understanding and relaxed. The location was great, walking distance to trains and trams to get to the heart of Amsterdam. Far enough away to be quiet for nights in. Nancy was very communicative even though she was on holiday. Easy parking if you drive in and plenty of space for 5, especially if someone doesn’t mind the couch. Would be great for 3 couples. Amazing showers 😁

Awesome location, comfortable bed. Hosts enjoy taking care of their place and guests. The check-in was in person and no self check-in option available but hosts were very accommodating and easy to get in touch with.

The place was great, the neighborhood is quiet and quaint. Welcome treats on arrival, wines in the fridge (did not drink them cause we don't drink wine), but it was a great touch! The place was spotless and there is ample space for a family 5. JP was very responsive on a couple of issues we had, and he resolved them extremely quickly. Our hub was really Utrecht to get around (Utrech Station), so had to commute to utrecht Central daily and it was between a 15-25 minute bus ride (not ideal). The heater (Nordic Fire) is fantastic, took us some time to figure it out to get the apartment at the "right" temperature (right , like art is in the eyes of the beholder). Great value for what you pay. Great hosts. Thank you for your hospitality.

We stayed 10 days at Nanda’s place and we enjoyed it. Her place is comfortable with a lot of natural light. The living room is spacious and pleasant to relax. Nanda and her husband are wonderful hosts. They are very helpful. I would recommend her place as its is very easy to go to the city and others cities with public transportation.

Great stay, especially for longer stays.... Very friendly and welcoming hosts... The place has all the amenities to feel right at home and then some, the true gem is the backyard porch!!

What a wonderfully spacious apartment. It was more spacious than it looked in the photos. In the evening very cozy with the stove on. All amenities were good. For us the perfect base for a few days of nature and city. We were there in summer winter but for other seasons also a really nice place to stay. Thank you!

Anna and John , out hosts were wonderful. Place was so well designed and so beautiful. I could tell a lot of thought was put into the design. I think the place would be even better with a notebook with instructions about house, tv, appliances , and check out procedure . On the other hand, Anna and John were so responsive. Anna and John met us at the apartment , plane was delayed so arrived late around 9:30. Anna and John were flexible and gave us a warm welcome with tour of house. However in the morning, I discovered scaffolding with green mesh across windows. I paid top dollar for a canal house with view of canal. This was a disappointment and was not told about this. I would never have rented if I knew there was barely a view through the windows with scaffolding and mesh . Everything else was wonderful! Future renters should ask about the obstructed view.

Great, cozy place to stay in if you want something close to Amsterdam, but nice and quiet. Great to be on the water, supermarket/shops in a nice picturesque town 5 mins from the house and you’ll drive into Amsterdam in 10 mins. Host super responsive and smooth and flexible checkin and checkout. Recommend!

Sanne is great to work with, the space is very clean and comfortable. Would not hesitate to come back.

The place was just fantastic. Quiet location close to Amsterdam. Top amenities. Sauna and hot tub included. Also a giant grill that worked great. Suitable for a relaxing weekend with family and friends. And a trip to Amsterdam is also in. The hosts were very friendly and always quick to respond and also flexible with arrival and departure times. There was everything you needed. Highly recommend.

Lovely location; the owner’s family live next door and are very welcoming and friendly! Wander Island is a really good restaurant. Lake is wonderful. Only 30 mins from Amsterdam by Park and Ride.

A very spacious house with plenty of facilities such as jacuzzi, sauna, racing computer and other things that make the stay excellent. Also excellent for larger groups.

Fantastic house. We stayed there with 4 adults. The house is fully equipped, clean, spacious and has a nice location!
