Holiday houses in Akaroa

As per prior reviews, we had an amazing time at Driftwood Rest - comfortable and lovely furnishings that made us feel right at home and very special! Heidi and Claire were perfect hosts who were very proactive, clear and responsive in their communications - they were an absolute pleasure to deal with. We can second the recommendation for The Hub - delicious pizzas! As for the location, Binalong Bay and the Bay of Fires is a lovely part of the world - two thumbs up!

Hands down the nicest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed. Every detail was thoughtful, from beautiful produce left for us (including fresh bread) to a stunning house with gorgeous interior design. Such a lovely find and Tethys was super friendly and helpful.

We travelled from NSW to have a week with family from Tassie and Amara’s house was highly suitable for our 8 adults. It was big enough to share time together or escape one another. It’s located in a beautiful part of Australia so much so, our family wants to keep it a secret. The house was well lived in with all the amenities we needed to be very comfortable. The kitchen (and pantry) came stocked with many essentials and cookware, which made it very easy for us to prepare for a Christmas lunch. Thank you, this was fantastic!! We all loved sitting together in the lounge room or on the verandah and taking in all the natural beauty this place has to offer. Amara was always quick to respond to our questions and needs. Additionally, there are plenty of things to do in the local area if you love the great outdoors. I have used Airbnb for over 6 years frequently, and Amara’s place I would rate in my top 5 for comfort, amenities, space and location if you want a quiet private place to get away

Facing the sea, the white sand beach is really comfortable, the children are very happy to go to the flame bay is very close, the recommended The Hub pizza, oysters, red wine is good

As soon as we arrived I wanted to stay put. And we did just that for 6 nights and that was still not enough😂. We have visited Falmouth 5 or 6 times previously but the quietude and stunning beauty of Saltwater will see us return as often as possible to these well appointed villas.

Beautiful view, good facilities, rooms well in order, relatively clean, very swift and well comunication. Would definitely stay again.

Dan’s place gave us a stay we’d like to do again and again, year after year. The place is simple but clean and spacious. The surroundings are lovely, up in the trees. It was homely and nice to come back to after a day of adventures in the area. Well done to Dan and his family, best Airbnb in a long while.

Great views in a great little community. Accommodation comfortable with wonderful places to sit outside in good and bad weather. One of a kind! We will be back!

Ericas place, was clean, spacious, simple, enough of everything for a lovely comfortable stay for us and the 4 children. We absolutely loved all it had to offer and we will be back again sometime. Thankyou so much, so very memorable.
