Our stay at this Airbnb was wonderful. From the start, the host provided clear & detailed instructions, making check-in seamless. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed, setting the tone for a comfortable & enjoyable stay. The accommodation itself was cosy & equipped with all the essential facilities, including convenient on-site parking. It was evident that thoughtful touches had been considered, even down to the quality of the soap provided. The location was ideal for exploring the Isle of Skye, situated near Broadford with plenty of catering options & amenities nearby. Whether heading out for the local parkrun & other adventures, this Airbnb proved the perfect base. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a convenient, welcoming, & well-located place to stay.

This would be one of our top 2 or 3 AirBnBs we’ve stayed. The cottage is as cute as a button, it’s spacious for a family of 4 and the host has it set up to be very homely, organised and beautifully decorated. The host was excellent - welcoming, quick to respond and went above to make our stay seamless - it felt like staying in a professionally run holiday venue but with cozy personal touches.

A stunning location for this cottage. It was peaceful and has incredible views over the waters to the mountains. It was wonderful to see the tide come and go, we felt close to nature. The cottage was clean and well stocked with kitchen equipment. There are games and books and enough for wood for your first night there. Underfloor heating was lovely and the fire heated the house really well to the point I needed to open the door to cool down - which is great to know you won’t be cold when you’re up there at the end of Autumn! Having a bath while looking out in the views to the mountains felt like a luxury.

We had a great stay at Fossil Cottage and would gladly stay again. The surroundings are incredibly beautiful, with the cottage itself being very comfortable and peaceful. It provides great access to the whole of Skye and our hosts were very friendly and helpful.
