This is my second stay at Paul’s Airbnb. Aside from everything I mentioned in my first review (September 2020), I will say that Paul’s cancellation policy is incredibly flexible (as of this writing). With my flights being cancelled/rescheduled a few times due to the pandemic, this flexibility was much appreciated. Would definitely stay again!

We dealt primarily with Rosa and she was very responsive and helpful. When we had a minor issue she was immediately on site and doing her best to assist us. We really appreciate their flexibility and accommodating us.

The place is located in a great location, very close to MRT only 5 minutes walk and walking distance to night market. There are plenty of restaurants around the area. The apartments looked as shown on the listing. The host very nice and responsive. We had a small problem with the door lock and the host responded very quick and came to solve the problem right away.

Great location next to MRT and 101. Tons of food close by, from restaurants to night market to 101/Breeze. Host is very responsive. Good value for a stay in a great area of Taipei. Do note that bathroom and shower is on the small size, and water pressure can be improved.

Absolutely 1000/10! The place was so comfortable and perfect for both family and barkada trips. It’s just a quick 3-minute walk to Ximending district, making it super convenient for exploring. Duncan, our host, went above and beyond by personally driving us to the airport, which we truly appreciated. His hospitality and thoughtful service made our stay even more memorable. We will definitely rebook and recommend this place to our friends and family! Highly recommended!

Worth staying, location is more convenient

The word I would use to describe this place is adequate. It’s adequate for a traveler who just want a convenient place to shower and sleep. The place looks like the photos. It’s 5-10 minutes walk to Ximen station with loads of eateries around so it’s really convenient. Although I do think it’s a little bit cramped for 3 adults, I enjoyed the stay in general.

Great stay! Plenty of room since it is split with a separate kitchen, living room, and loft. Plenty of natural light. Having an in-house washing machine was a huge plus especially if you pack light. Lots of food options in the area. Really close to a really good beef noodle soup place open 24 hours. Walking distance to the Ximending night market and Red House. The host was very responsive, the place was clean. It was nice to be on a higher floor so less concern for bugs. This place is best suited for younger couples since it isn't immediately near the Metro station. Overall wonderful place to stay.

Sheila’s place is perfectly located next to the MRT station with plenty of shopping and restaurants. The night market is also within 5 minutes of walking. The unit itself is exactly as described in the post- clean, comfortable, and conveniently and thoughtfully equipped with washer/dryer and bathroom drying feature. Sheila and her sister are wonderful hosts that communicate promptly and clearly.

Overall, I'm satisfied. First of all, the location was the best, and all the convenience stores and transportation facilities right in front of the house were convenient. But.. there was dust in the house, on the bed.. There was leftover oranges, and the hot water pot was surprised when the dead ants floated when I pressed the water..

Very convenient location: close to metro, buses and bike sharing station. Quiet and high up out of the general street noise. Small kitchenette had all the appliances to make our own meals. Rooftop area was a nice place to relax and watch the sunset.

The place is really clean and smells good. It is near to Ximending (& Ximen mrt station). There are a lot of delicious food nearby, even if you get up early or come home late, there are still shops where you can eat. It’s highly recommended.

A good size for a short stay for me and my partner. It was within the vicinity of many TikTok viral food places in ximen. I would recommend it for a cozy stay. It is my first time staying in a mini loft so I wasn’t used to having the bed being steps away. For me the instructions to any Airbnb, especially after a long flight, is very important and I’m glad that the hosts provided clear instructions and even videos to guide us and are very responsive.

This is the first time I've stayed in a room so comfortable! Phillips is very kind and friendly, and the room is filled with thoughtful amenities and clever touches that show great attention to detail. Above all, the room is clean and easy to use, and it's conveniently close to the station. I also loved being able to hang laundry on the rooftop! I would like to stay here again. Thank you so much!

Had a wonderful stay, Phillips is the perfect host. The place was so clean and he even stocked it with toilet paper, shampoo, soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, and more; even some fruits and drinks in the fridge. I had everything I needed, from dishes to towels to laundry liquid. He always responded instantly to any messages I sent and during the big earthquake he had messaged me within a few minutes to make sure I was okay. Upon check-in he was waiting outside the apartment to greet me and proceeded to show me everything I needed to know, including how to work the washing machine. Everything in the apartment was functioning correctly and most things were brand new. I recommend this place to anyone coming to Taipei, especially students as it's a 5 minute walk to NTNU. Phillips really goes out of his way to do everything he can to make your stay as good as it can be, 5*

We enjoyed our three week stay, was a convenient spot and great value for money.

The hotel is also cheap, and I wanted Airbnb to be better, so I stayed at the accommodation! It's cleaner and better than I thought, so it's good if you want to stay with friends for a good value. The host was so kind and the photos were good, so I was able to do it without difficulty at all. Above all, the location is really good, and having a washing machine is the best!

Location-wise, very convenient. Just walking distance to the places we want to go and public transportation. The host was also very gracious and accomodating. Recommended places to eat, visit and even answer questions from us during our stay. The place, albeit not that spacious, was clean. Only minor incovenience was noises from adjacent rooms. We can hear conversations and other tenants closing their doors. Would love to stay on this same place on my next visit.

A few minutes walk from the MTC at NTNU, I stayed with Philips for a number of months, he was always super helpful, responsive, and friendly. Place is great, inside the Shida night market, lots of great food, close to a metro, overall great place. If I come back to Taipei would stay again! Thanks!!

This unit is cozy, tidy, and well-maintained. It's rare to find a place in Taipei with an elevator at such a reasonable price. - Why I chose this place: my apartment renovation got delayed (i'm Taiwanese), had to find a place to stay for a month - My ratings: AC: 5/5 – Worked perfectly, no issues Bed: 5/5 – Comfortable and spacious enough (I'm 5'2") Bathroom: 5/5 – Spotlessly clean, no musty smell (which is crucial, as many places in Taipei have that issue, ew) Dedicated workspace: 4/5 Privacy: 5/5 – Located on the 7th floor, no worries about neighbors peeking in Convenience: 5/5 – Short walk to the metro, bus stops, and plenty of food vendors nearby Ventilation: 5/5 (VERY IMPORTANT, esp in Taipei) – Great airflow with windows in both the kitchen and bathroom, which is rare in Taipei and a key reason why I think this unit is a gem. - I highly recommend this unit. Phillips' been very responsive and nice throughout my stay.

The subway station is just outside, and the location is convenient.The bed is easy to sleep in, the host is very easy-going ~
