Waterfront holiday rentals in Zarzal

Everything is as represented in this property at the Wyndham Rio Mar, Cluster 2 end unit. Beautiful, serene, clean. I will focus on the other things about Shubin/Nora's property that are not talked about. It appears that a lot of the owners are weekend owners and are not around as much M-F, so things are VERY quiet during the week. When local families are there, they congregate at the cluster pool and hot tub (which actually is about the same temperature as the pool). A tip for leaving and entering the property after you have registered, there is another entrance on the far side of the property near Cluster 2 (not the entrance marked security), that you can go in and out of from 5am-7pm. You just must show the paper (on your dashboard) that you are a registered guest. The unit has condiments in the fridge (thank you), olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper, coffee, sugar and lots of pots and pans for cooking. You can get a small bag of ice from Cluster 2 security once daily,

Great central location for access to San Juan, Fajardo, El Yunque, Ceiba/ ferry terminal/airport and local restaurants and grocery; great value + plenty of space to unwind, sleep for 4-5; bonus having beach towels, chairs, cooler; loved having washer/dryer on site and cooking supplies; host is extremely attentive to questions and requests

Everything was beautiful and safe. I will definitely be coming back. This place was spotless. Everything was clean. It was so clean you barely wanted to touch anything and I mean I felt like home. It was so peaceful and just romantic, and it was a great memory overall thank you for giving me this opportunity to visit a place like this thank you❤️

Fransheska was an incredible host- and the apartment was spectacular. Would recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful updated apartment that is beachfront. The apartment was VERY well stocked. From beach equipment (chairs, toys), to speakers to towels to tinfoil. There was really everything that anyone would need in this apartment! And the response time was excellent, as was flexibility. Our flights were canceled day before checkout and Fransheska was easy to communicate and gracious about extending our stay! Would recommend!

The condo was as described and looked just like the pictures. We could sit on the porch and hear and see the ocean. We could walk in 2 minutes to a beautiful beach. There were lots of beach towels and beach chairs. I wish we had stayed at the condo more and just cooked our meals. You have to be let in by a guard every time you arrive and have to drive to any restaurants or shopping. Having 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms was great for my family!

I am really not sure why I have never vacationed in Puerto Rico before but it was absolutely beautiful! I will be returning 100% and would stay here again hands down. It had everything we needed, a quick walk to the beach, a clean and private beach, friendly people and what a view!!! We had an absolute amazing time. Cookie and Enrique’s place was perfect. I highly recommend staying here.

We had an amazing time at this Airbnb! The location was perfect—close to everything we wanted to explore, yet peaceful and relaxing. The place was immaculately clean, and it was clear that the host puts a lot of care into maintaining the space. Communication was top-notch; our host was super responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the air conditioning was ice cold—such a relief after a day in the sun! The modern amenities were a huge plus, and the spacious master bathroom with dual showerheads was a real treat. We were especially impressed with all the beach gear and recreational equipment available—boogie boards, beach chairs, and more, which made our beach days so much easier. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook, which was great for nights when we decided to dine in. Overall, we highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to stay in Puerto Rico. It was the perfect home base for our vacation!

We loved our stay here and everything about the place. Milton was super responsive when there was a minor repair needed and it was taken care of easily and quickly. In addition to the lovely view, beach access, etc. we were also impressed to see that the grounds are very well-kept with regular (but unobtrusive ) patrols by security staff. Plenty of groceries and restaurants a brief drive away. We are thoroughly pleased with our stay!

The host was very nice and responsive. The location is great and safe, just a short walk from the beach. Everything you could need was provided. I highly recommend it!

Great Space & Spacing. So much impressed us, from first sight to the grandkids did not want to leave. Private pool, 15-20 people fit. Right on the water with tremendous sea breeze. Each of us spent time soaking in the distant roar of the waves and the breeze to relax us. Beach water was shallow, no fear for the kids. They went kayaking with the available life vests. Coconut palm trees on each side, & a papaya tree on the side. Great kitchen with a separate freezer. 3 bedrooms for couples, one double for two but could easily sleep 4, bunk beds & queen size bed for 5-8. 5 showers, one outdoor shower to remove sand. I think everyone could have fallen asleep watching TV on this huge sofa. Propane gas stove on balcony to grill. Brick Barbecue pit near pool with sink to wash fish. Near Luquillo beach with plenty of food options. Cozy, romantic, fun, safe. Great family trip. Awesome.

There are not enough words to describe how amazing this place is! Our family had the best experience and plan on coming back in the future. The multiple bedrooms, bathrooms and indoor/outdoor seating was very useful for our group of 7 adults. We did not realize how much we would enjoy the swimming pool but that ended up being one of our favorite parts of the stay. There was an unexpected wifi outage in the area and the hosts were extremely helpful and kept us in loop of the repairs. The location is perfect to just enjoy the ocean, go down to the ferry to visit Vieques for the bio-luminescent bay, short drive to the hiking in the mountain and visitor center or just visit some of the yummy local restaurants.

We booked Robyn’s place for my daughter’s 15th birthday trip. The location was absolutely perfect! Within walking distance to the beach (though there aren’t many shells on this particular beach), very safe location in a gated community, and the space was very clean. Wade met us to provide an in-person tour, which was great. The only thing I would have changed would be to offer a print out of the area map with key spots to visit. Otherwise, we had a wonderful stay! Location was only a short drive to the kioskos and el Yunque. Would definitely rebook this on our next trip.

This home is everything that we've ever wanted in an AirBNB. If you are looking for a vacation home that's in the city, or in a touristy area, this it not it. Rather, if you want an authentic Puerto Rico neighborhood experience, this is it! The location was easy to find, as long as you used the Google Maps coordinate that is shared with you. We felt so at home. I spent most nights sitting on the rooftop, listening to the coquis frogs talking to one another. The neighbors that we met were so kind and welcoming. We needed to reach out to the hosts for a few things, and they were very responsive. I truly felt so at home and would have loved staying another week.... or even more ;-). The ocean was a quick two'ish block walk, totally flat and easy to walk. All in all, this was a lovely home, great neighborhood, and well worth the price.

I had a great stay at this Airbnb! The place had all the kitchen supplies I needed and an impressive selection of beach gear—everything you could imagine. The backyard was excellent, and the proximity to the beaches made it even better. I happily gave it 5 stars! The host was also friendly and very responsive. That said, I have to admit that the property could use some renovation, and some repairs were actually completed during my stay. The only issue I encountered was with a neighbor on the opposite side of the backyard. She got very upset when I asked her to lower the music after 11 PM and rudely told my family to leave Puerto Rico. Fortunately, she didn’t seem to live there permanently and was only around for a day, so it wasn’t a major problem. For me, the best part was the beautifully enclosed property and the fact that a stunning beach was just a five-minute walk away.

We loved our time at Giselle and Michele's home. It was incredibly clean and well maintained. The outside area was incredible. We spent our afternoons watching kite surfers and exploring the reef and our evenings were spent in their amazing outside kitchen area. It was so peaceful and beautiful. We had an amazing visit!

Koqui Beach house was everything and more! The condo was in pristine condition and felt very cozy! Karina had gone the extra mile to leave sweet christmas treats for my family. Anything you needed, she had! Toiletries, cold water in the fridge, bug spray, sunscreen, arm floats, beach chairs, etc. She has thought of it! It truly felt like home. We asked for a few recommendations for restaurants and activities to do, and she delivered! We have never visited Puerto Rico, and with her guidance, she helped us get to enjoy all the unique things PR had to offer. She went over and beyond to make us feel special and right at home! Would definitely stay here again! We absolutely loved everything about Koqui Beach house! Thank you for making our PR trip so special!

We will absolutely be coming back! Felt right at home! Great location. Close to things without feeling like you are. Loved that you could hear the waves at night and the beach being just steps away. Beds were comfortable and the place was spotless. Having a washer and dryer was a life saver. I've had some bad experiences in the past with PR condos (mold, stuffy rooms that seems like they haven't been aired out in months) This experience was nothing like that. Absolutely fantastic spot.

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment is just as described, and very comfortable. Location is lovely as it is right on the beach! About a 15 minute drive to downtown. David was super communicative — would definitely recommend!

Thank you for all the great communication before our arrival and during our stay. Being steps from the beach was amazing! We loved our walks on the beach to the Wyndham - got some food / drinks and then walk back :) We LOVED the terrace!! Your kitchen was fully stocked with cooking supplies and spices that we enjoyed home cooked meals. We enjoyed the community pool. Also, loved the short distance to El Yunque National Forest - and it's beautiful!! We did ziplining, ATVs, explored Old San Juan, and loved trying local restaurants. We will definitely be back for sure!

Very convenient, especially if traveling with kids. Juan made it especially easy for us to have our first trip with our five month old. He accessed a Pack N Play and bought a new sheet for us! The pool is right out the back door and the beach is a few hundred yards away. My five year old was so excited about the beach toys available for him to play with and my husband and I were happy with the beach chairs and cooler. The house was equipped with just enough that we needed. Everything we needed beyond the apartment was close by as well. I would definitely return :-)

I recently had the pleasure of staying at an incredible Airbnb that I cannot recommend enough. From the moment I arrived, I was taken aback by how beautiful the place was. The property was not only aesthetically stunning but also impeccably clean and well-maintained. It truly felt like a home away from home. The interior was thoughtfully decorated, blending modern comfort with a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The outdoor spaces were equally breathtaking, offering a perfect spot to relax and soak in the serene surroundings. The area itself was so peaceful. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood, it provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Whether you’re someone who enjoys quiet reflection or a peaceful getaway, this area offers the perfect backdrop for both. Yohany, the host, was absolutely wonderful. She was not only responsive but also incredibly helpful throughout my stay. Thank you for Allowing my family to stay yohany and we hope to be back.

My family and I had an overall great experience at this Airbnb. Very clean and spacious for a group of six adults/kids. The location is great if you’re looking to stay near the El Yunque rainforest and/or enjoy some of the private/public beaches in the area. The community is located on resort grounds and you are allowed to walk along the golf course, use their beach area, etc. which was great for keeping small kids entertained. However, future guests should be aware that the condo community apparently prohibits short-term stays. While Loly provided very clear instructions to avoid potential issues, we disliked the fact that we only learned about this issue several days before our trip began (we booked the Airbnb months earlier) and then again at the guard gate upon arrival. This issue left us continuously wondering if we’d be “caught” and how that would impact our trip.
