The host was friendly and promptly responded to all my requests. Both the house manager and the maid were also very kind. The cleaning was done thoroughly and with great attention to detail. The house was cozy and perfect for staying alone!

Sally was a phenomenal host to me during my one month stay in Zambia! She was prompt with communication -- from the moment I stepped off the plane in Lusaka, Sally responded to every question or concern I had. She was always warm and welcoming and went above and beyond to make me feel at home here in Lusaka. When it came to any recommendations on sightseeing in Lusaka or getting my way around the city, I felt like I could rely on her. Knowing that I was a student visiting Zambia, she always showed me how I could take advantage of being in Lusaka while on a budget. I could not recommend staying here enough -- thank you Sally for making my time in Zambia so incredible, and if I ever have the ability to come back, I know where I will be staying!

Mwapes place felt like home, it matched the description perfectly and looked just like in the pictures. The solar backup ensured there were no dark nights, even with Zambia's loadshedding. She was very friendly and responsive, and the house is in a peaceful, quiet area One thing to note: there are no flip-flops in the bathroom, so if you need them, make sure to bring your own. Otherwise, it was a wonderful stay, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay in Zambia.

Very peaceful cottage on a farm . Very friendly hosts , like meeting friends . The cottage is 20 km South of Kalomo ( not in town ). Just perfect .

Very nice Palace as a work accomodation and For resting. Beautifull garden and patio. Nice and friendly host and workers. Good neighborhood but still original African stamp on the air. Basic household equipments. Of course, Zambia's infrastructure problems existed here as well but hosts have done a lot by themselves to solve the inconvencies. For a longer period, it is worth renting a car from a local entrepreneur. Yangos are what they are and international renters are expensive. You can get to know the whole city Area very well by car and people are polite to others in traffic. This was my first real trip to Africa and I can recommend a visit and especially to get to know the local people and life. Not just to the "must-see" Victoria Falls and safaris.

I enjoyed my stay at Judy’s cottage. It was a business stay and I had all I needed to work and go to my appointments easily. Judy is an exceptional host, always available and really helpful in all situations . I will certainly come back to Judy’s cottage next time in Lusaka.

Nelmarie’s place is a safe haven. It’s so difficult to find this quality of a place for this price in Lusaka. It’s a steal! Everytime I come I feel rejuvenated and relaxed upon departure. I love it here!
