Holiday rentals with breakfast in Yoshino River

Aya and Kou were amazing hosts, super friendly and attentive. They went out of their way to help me get in touch with a Japanese tour company to book a white-water rafting trip for the next day. Aya also shared stories about her travels to the U.S., which was really interesting. I loved staying in a traditional Japanese house, and the dinner they made was absolutely delicious. Big thanks to Aya and Kou for their wonderful hospitality!

We spent 2 days on the island on our family trip trough Japan. After 2 weeks travelling big cities, it was a treat to stay in this beautiful and spacious beach house, with our own rooms and close to nature. Rika was a great and very helpful host and fulfilled all our wishes. She even brought us beer from Takamatsu. Be sure to try the outdoor pizza oven. Rika, thank you so much for hosting us.

Aunt Yamaguchi received me very warmly, prepared my slippers, I had turned on the heater when I arrived, prepared green tea and snacks for me, paved the tatami bed for me, put on the hot water of the bath... The house in Yamaguchi is very well taken care of by her, very clean and tidy, there are a lot of interesting hand work in the house, it is worth a lot of fun handwork at home, it is very easy to enjoy, right, breakfast prepared with great heart, Japanese breakfast and fruit, eat a very satisfying start day trip!The only regret is that I can only stay for a day, I will definitely come again next time, thank you aunt Yamaguchi, stay full of 10,000 guests early

I booked this accommodation for my family and husband. There were three elderly people in our group. Shinta provided excellent service—he kindly offered to pick us up at the station, and on our departure day, he also helped carry all of our luggage to the station. The room was large and spacious, accommodating three families (5 people) comfortably. The bathroom was clean, and there was a washing machine available. However, the kitchen equipment only included a microwave, so it might be a bit inconvenient for those who wish to cook their own meals. The distance from the station to the accommodation is short, and it doesn’t take long to get there. On the way back to the house, you’ll pass by the Aeon Mall, where you can conveniently buy food from the supermarket. Additionally, there is a Don Quijote (Donki) store along the way, where you can purchase souvenirs to take home.

Fantastic stay for me - I travelled there for two nights coming from Matsuyama through to Kyoto - if you look for a tranquil and serene Japanese island experience, you should try this beautiful island with these nice hosts! The house is self designed and beautifully located with the sunrise on the East Coast directly at the water, view and tatami room are amazing - I slept wonderfully with nature sounds and calm ships passing by sometimes - after the first night, I explored the island with the bike, which I totally recommend, at the hotel at the south east coast. They also have a beautiful natural Onsen with the most amazing view - best deal. Best price must try. And the bike they had was also super functional, even electric. I covered a big part of the island within eight hours, even up onto the mountain top, coming back at sunset with the last percent perfectly, then the Onsen… the house was so nice to pick me up and bring me, to Onsen and ferry - great local food as well! Go visit!

Yumi and Tadao is a modern couple with high-end tastes and super nice personality. They help us out on everything, pick up and send us to airport, restaurant booking, recommendations of place to go, and especially the breakfasts tastes surpass 99% of the 5stars hotels! The house is well designed with nature lights, enough space, very clean and tidy! Highly recommend everyone to come and experience!

There are two rooms with two single beds, but there were no guests other than us on the day of the stay, so I was able to use it privately. It was a wonderful experience to experience the extraordinary with a nicer pension than I could have imagined. We also had all the basic amenities such as pajamas, toothbrushes, hair dryers, etc., so it was a pretty good point to be able to go lightly. In the morning, you will wake up to the sound of birds, wake up to the sun, and the owner will provide you with a nice breakfast. By the way, it is located quite a bit up the hill, so I recommend going lightly. As you said, the carry case is not suitable for Onomichi sightseeing. This accommodation experience will make Onomichi sightseeing a nice touch! We'd love to have you back ^_^

Wonderful gem with a great view on wonderful Onomichi. The host, Ouchi, is simply wonderful. And the breakfast with a view guarantees a perfect start to the day.

Megino is a very nice option if you prefer staying overnight in Megijima. Location is right in front of the sea where you can totally enjoy the view. It takes about 5mins walk from the pier which is acceptable. Communications with the host was smooth which made the check-in process easy. The host was also friendly and helpful to share different spots in Kanagawa. We also like the home vibe here so we feel comfortable staying in. Definitely recommend here for a stay in Megijima. :)

It’s the perfect place to enjoy breakfast overlooking a picturesque seaside sunrise. Satomi is so kind and a great host. The most difficult part of staying here is leaving in the morning!
