Lister lodge was a perfect get away for me and my partner. Homely feeling inside with everything we could have possibly needed. The place is full of character in every room, definitely a hidden gem for a family stay with a bundle of movies to watch and games to play and everything either a walks distance or 5-10 minutes drive away. Scott has been a great host, he was very responsive with any queries we had before and during our stay, and made sure we had everything we needed for a smooth self check in on arrival. We were only there for 2 nights but it is definitely on our list of stays we would like to return to. Thanks, Ella & Sam x

Beautifully presented and spotlessly clean cottage. The master bedroom was really impressive; the bed was ultra-comfotable with lovely bedlinen and pillows and the view was stunning. We really appreciated the kind Welcome Pack and we were pleasantly surprised to find all the fuel for the cosy fire was provided - thank you. Lovely accommodation.

We absolutely loved our stay! Jay was very helpful answering in answering our questions before our stay and was there to greet us when we arrived. It was the perfect size for the two of us and we enjoyed the hot tub with an amazing view. Jay’s local recommendations helped to make our trip great, and we enjoyed being so close to the Rail Trail. Great spot for a fantastic walking and steam train holiday. A really thoughtfully managed place - thank you!

Fantastic venue for our celebrations. Spacious modern clean house. Martin was very helpful and very quick to respond. Overall a fab weekend didn’t want it to end. Will definitely be back soon.

What a fabulous place ! We loved the living/ kitchen area. Lovely big bedrooms with comfy beds and feather pillows and beautiful bathrooms. Everything we could possibly want was there thank you. Love the free parking in Saltburn too ! Thank you.

Lovely, clean, spacious lodge in a lovely setting with a perfectly placed hot tub. The lodge meet all our requirements. Plenty of storage space, extra bedding provided and all the essentials. Highly recommended.

A cozy home in very picturesque surroundings. A short walk down ancient alleyways to the river, harbour, pubs, shops and beach. The view from the cottage frames the abbey beautifully. The house has everything you need, comfy sofas and a very well equipped kitchen. Much appreciated,and apt for our Christmas visit, welcome on arrival

Beautiful house in the upper part of Runswick Bay with easy access to the beach and Cleveland Way. It was perfect for our family reunion (six adults and 4 children). it’s a large dormer bungalow, maybe a little dated but with modern bathrooms and well equipped kitchen which were spotlessly clean. Despite it being the coldest weekend in Britain for 10 years we were cosy with central heating, extra oil filled radiators and wood burners. Susan was the perfect host with good communication and many thanks for leaving us plenty logs. The toys which are mentioned in lots of reviews were great for the children. They even ventured to the bottom of the garden to the play area which was fantastic but too cold to stay long. We would love to stay in this house again maybe in the summer months to take advantage of the beautiful garden, eating al fresco and taking in the views of the bay and Kettleness in the distance.
