Holiday houses in Wrightington

What a fantastic stay. We booked for a two night stay for my birthday and we were over the moon with the snowfall! Sam was great and collected us from the local village to take us to and from the lodge as we couldn’t drive up there due to the snow. The whole stay was great from the lodge, the hot tub and location. We will definitely be back and we would reccomend to anyone looking for a private stay away from reality!

Had a lovely stay at Julie and Steve’s place, the caravan was clean, cosy well equipped and perfectly situated within the campsite. The swimming pool onsite was lovely and warm and at the time we went not too busy. The area and the scenery is lovely with plenty of local walks but also close enough to Manchester and Blackpool to add variety.

We had such a wonderful stay. The cottage was spotlessly clean and in a very pretty location. We also so appreciated the beautifully thick fluffy towels and good quality bedding (not common in air bnb properties!). Hosts were also on hand to answer any questions and responded v quickly. Thanks so much.

Exactly as in the pictures. Hosts very responsive and helpful. Didn’t realise all the rooms had tvs in which was amazing. The beds were very comfortable … too comfy in fact haha was difficult to get out of them Hosts had put some extras in ( milk, bread, cereals and Prosecco, box of sweets) this was really thoughtful! There was plenty of towels / toilet rolls and also shower gels in the showers which smelt amazing ! Hot tub was warm and ready to jump straight into on arrival. Really impressed and had an amazing weekend we didn’t want to leave. Hosts even offered us to stay past check out as the property wasn’t needed until the next day. Really nice and welcoming not just the air bnb but the hosts also :) thank you

We had a wonderful long weekend stay in this lovely house with our family of ten of all ages. There was so much to do, everyone was kept happy. The weather was icy cold but dry for our whole stay. The house was nice and warm on our arrival, a big comfort on a cold day, we felt at home straight away. We made good use of the hot tub straight away as it was hot and ready to use when we arrived. The garden was huge, our dog loved it. In warmer weather we would have made more use of the outdoor facilities of which there were many. We did manage a game of table tennis on our last day, when the top was clear of frost. Our whole family wished they could have stayed the week. We would definitely recommend this house.

Very well appointed accommodation with lovely gardens. In a remote location with good internet & access to North Lancashire and Lakes & half hour from Thronton-Cleveleys & nearby towns. The host is extremely helpful and supplies all mod cons with the accommodation. Highly recommended.

My family had a very lovely stay at the apartment. Melissa was very responsive and accommodating to our requests. The apartment was the perfect size for my family of 5, cozy and beautifully furnished. The apartment is located in a nice part of Altrincham. The fact that it is a gated compound was a huge plus for us in terms of safety considerations. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip back to visit our family! Great find. Beautiful and clean and did us right fine and proud. Kitchen was really well equipped and spacious. Rooms were all really light and comfy. Absolutely lovely gaff. Thanks for having us.

Louise is a fantastic host. Friendly and welcoming and left biscuits, crisps and a lovely bottle of wine as a welcome treat. This is in a stunning location made even more beautiful with the snow. Quiet and peaceful Looking forward to being able to visit in sunny weather then we can make use of the outside space. Everything was perfect. Clean, warm, cosy, well equipped Great weekend unwinding. Would stay again

I chose to stay at the log cabin for my boyfriend’s birthday. We both absolutely loved the whole weekend. The lodge was 100% worth the money. The decor in the lodge made you feel right at home. The on site bar and restaurant was lovely and a nice alternative if you didn’t fancy cooking. The on-site deer, peacocks and cats were a highlight of the trip for us. We loved being able to go on a walk and then get back to our lovely lodge and hottub. We will definitely be returning again.
