Cottage holiday rentals in Woodstock

Came to town for a quiet book getaway. The fireplace and living room is super cozy! Beds were comfortable and there were so many supplies that we were set for the weekend. We felt right at home and didn’t want to leave. We will be back!

Wow! What a charming cottage in an adorable town! The bed was super comfy, the place was immaculate, the hot tub divine after hiking all day in SNP (only 6 miles away!). I wouldn’t change a thing and nothing could’ve been better. Just wonderful!

Me and my fiance had a wonderful stay at Jennifer's and her husband place! This was our 3rd time staying and it just as amazing as the first 2 times! We always feel right at home and relaxed when we visit! You definitely cannot find a better home then this! From the beautiful views, the house is so clean and have everything you need, the fire place, hot tub,shower and bed were so relaxing! We enjoyed watching movies on the big tv, we cooked on the grill x2, it was also nice to have family games to play and we also love the fact of the dishwasher that way we did not have to hand wash several dishes after meals. We definitely will be back, We were soooo saddened to leave their beautiful and I'm definitely going to missed watching the cows🤗. Great secluded place but watch out during the winter for snow and ice due to a very steep and long driveway. I would recommend snow chains as our AWD car couldn’t make it up the house but thankfully Olivia arranged for assistance in getting us up. Very grateful for how responsive and helpful Olivia was throughout check in to check out.

Great place for family. Out kiddos enjoyed the board games and Foosball table. Place was clean and quiet. We had a blast during the holidays.

Booked this lovely little spot for a romantic getaway with my boyfriend for his birthday! The view and vibes of the place were amazing and everything inside was clean and comfy. We very much enjoyed our stay and will most definitely visit again in the future!! Thanks Gillian :)

We had a great time at Sandy’s! The house was very comfy cozy and gave us a chance to get off our screens and just hang out! I will say, if you are traveling with a friend(s) who are under 21 or if you are under 21, this may not be the place for you. There isn’t much to do area wise expect winery’s!! Which was nice for me lol. We stopped by a small ice cream shop and went to a petting zoo about 12 miles away! All in all a much needed relaxing trip! We will definitely be looking into coming back for the summer !

It was an incredible stay! The host was great at communicating prior to our arrival and everything at the cottage was super easy to navigate. The hot tub was especially amazing.

We had a wonderful stay. Our aim was to find somewhere quiet and peaceful to get away for the weekend and it was the perfect fit. The full property is gorgeous with walking paths and beautiful wildlife. A small herd of deer had bedded down just outside the cottage and we just spent the morning watching them before going for a walk around the area. I’d recommend bringing appropriate footwear if there’s been rain or snow because it can get a little muddy. Overall a great place for a weekend getaway. We will definitely be back for another stay.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Willie’s Place! Patti was a great host, she stayed in touch and made sure we knew she was close by if we needed anything. The location was perfect, very quiet and within close driving of all of our points of interest. Orange itself is a wonderful town, plenty to see and do. The house was great for a week stay, perhaps the most comfortable Airbnb bed we’ve ever used. Patti provided very easy instructions for accessing the house and everything was clean and ready for our stay. We highly recommended staying here and will definitely stay again if we come back to the area.

We had a great time at Lisa’s place! Everything was exactly like the pictures, and her host guidebook was such a nice touch to have! Easy to get an uber and surrounded by local breweries and wineries, and hiking trails. The place was very clean and such a cute location. We would stay here again.

We enjoyed staying in their guest house for a second time! Great location for walking around Montpelier with the dogs, a quiet and peaceful stay.

This house, which I have stayed at 5 different times, is my-go-to for when I am planning to do hikes at Lost River State Park as it is a 10m drive to the park and only about 5 minute drives to places where I can get food. The home is nice and clean and has a nice deck where I can sit out and drink my noon coffee. And the host is great- accommodated my requests and responded to my questions in a very speedy fashion.

Cute & cozy cottage with everything needed for a comfy stay - at a great price! Easy unloading right at the door. We loved the privacy, but we didn't walk the property as we had many hiking plans. Michael's communication was A+, and we appreciated the early c/i and late c/o. We were pleasantly surprised by the sofa bed. which was just briefly mentioned. It appears to be simply a sofa with chaise. However, if you pull out and up you have a double bed. And if you pull up on the chaise section, you'll find a memory foam mattress. It was amazingly comfortable! The water pressure in the shower was fantastic, and we couldn't believe how new and fancy the fridge is! The only negative was the lack of area rugs, considering how unbelievably SLIPPERY the wood floors are. Actually, there are two area rugs - without non-skid backing. That on the slick floors was even more dangerous, and we put them away for our stay. We bought some area rugs and non-slip socks at the Dollar Store!

We have stayed in a lot of AirB&B’s over the years, and Amy’s House has to be my favorite. We loved it so much that we are planning a return trip. Amy’s House has everything you could need during your stay. It is the most dog friendliest house I have ever seen. Billy provides a well-stocked house for both two-legged and four-legged guests. The beds were comfortable. The house was spotless and well decorated. Billy roasts have own coffee and shares with his guests. The location is lovely. We spent two days hiking in the SNP. I could have easily stayed a week. Heck, I’d move in if they let me. ;) If you are looking for a place to stay in this area, just book this house. It’s perfect. The owners are very friendly. The house is charming. You and your fur-babies will love it!

This was a perfect place for a peaceful getaway. The fireplace was a treat, and we had a very cozy stay. It's hard to add to what other reviewers have already said, but here is one detail: on a winter's night, when the moon is down and the sky is clear, the stars are fantastic! Because there is no nearby light pollution, the view from the deck of the night sky is deep and brilliant.

Excellent stay at a super reasonable price for the area over the Thanksgiving holiday. Very cozy, super comfortable and clean, and walkable to shops and restaurants in Upperville. Only a short drive to Middleburg. Highly recommend and would stay again!

We had an incredible stay at the cottage! Brittany gave detailed instructions before we arrived and the cottage was even cuter and cozier than expected. It snowed our entire second day and Brittany/Mike kept us informed on the status of the surrounding roads and even provided us with sleds! The farm was absolutely beautiful (especially in the snow), we spent a lot of our time just enjoying the peace and quiet, birdwatching, and petting the adorable animals. We explored New Market, the Luray Caverns, Harrisonburg, and a couple of nearby Wineries/Breweries - lots to do! The cottage stayed nice and warm in the cold temps and the fireplace made it even cozier. When we had questions or issues Brittany was extremely fast to respond and even went out of her way to make sure that we had a great stay, bringing us goodies from the farm/garden. Both Mike and Brittany were great to chat with and told us all about their farm/animals. We can't wait to come back and stay in the cottage again!

Charming house on river. Nice quiet neighborhhod.

We loved the place, it was very clean and a good place to get away which is also close to Shenandoah National Park. Virginia and her co-hosts were very helpful, flexible and responsive. The Airbnb was also right next to a winery which was nice. All in all, it was an amazing stay!

Teal’s place is great! Place was clean, as advertised, thoughtfully set up. About a 30min drive to Shenandoah National Park. Great spot. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

We had a fantastic time doing outdoor activities (hiking, fox hunting, house searching) during the day and relaxed in this beautiful cottage at night. It was so much fun! We love Virginia and can’t wait to move there. The owners are wonderful and extremely accommodating! Thank you to all!❤️

What a magical weekend we had. Everything we needed was there. The beautiful scenery and animals were an unexpected surprise. And to add to this magical place, snow! Just couldn’t have been a more perfect stay. Can’t wait to come back, hosts are amazing.

Lovely stay! My family met for the Thanksgiving weekend. House was the perfect balance of getaway and close enough to everything we needed. Right next to a winery and even had a herd of sheep come visit! Easy to find, good communication with the host, highly recommend.
