Review for Airbnb This house is truly a gem, and we felt very comfortable during our stay. The spacious rooms and floor-to-ceiling windows in the living and bedroom areas are simply stunning. The view is incredible, and the house is well-equipped with everything you need for cooking, bathing, and showering, including shampoo and shower gel. The only downside we noticed was that the house hasn’t had a thorough deep clean in quite some time. For example, the grill’s oil tray was completely full, causing grease to drip onto the lovely terrace floor, which we cleaned up ourselves. The wood-burning fireplace, which we used with joy, also needed to be fully emptied of ash before we could light a fire. Additionally, many of the windows hadn’t been cleaned for a while, which unfortunately meant we had to enjoy the breathtaking panorama through dirty glass. That said, this is undoubtedly a fantastic house with everything you could ask for. The beds are wonderful, and the bed linens and towel

Perfect location and space for our mini getaway. Two families shared the space and kids loved the swing in the backyard. Daily walks to the beach were amazing and a beautiful Christmas gift basket left as well. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We had a great stay at Peppy Beach Retreat. The house was beautiful and the surroundings were fantastic. You are just by the beach and the views are stunning. The house is extremely comfortable and the hosts are very responsive. We loved our stay and highly recommend this property!

Great stay, amazing view. Easy to access. Close to restaurants. 2 min walk from the beach and can see the jetty in the distance. Responsive host when we needed extra towels and beach chairs. Would go back again.

Gail was fantastic from start to end and very accommodating. House was beautifully situated that we could see the kids play at the park and quick access to the water. Gail was prompt at responding and the house was spotless on arrival with milk, eggs, spreads, coffee, tea, juice and so much more that saved us a trip to the shop and really appreciated as good hospitality is hard to find these days. It is worth noting that you will need to bring your own wifi or hotspot if you need it but there is so much fun on your doorstep our children didn't even look at their devices! Will definitely be staying again!

Great place to stay for a quiet family holiday. Location is stunning. We appreciated the early check in and late check out. 2 of the rooms did not have air conditioning in them which made it a bit difficult in the summer.

The place was well located, clean and the host was very responsive. It's worth noting that there are other chalets around the lake so you can hear if anyone has a party (it was New Year's Eve when we stayed). My only issue was we had to choose between air flow and security at night. The fly screens are not lockable so you have to keep the sliding doors either shut or open and unlocked. Only the master has air con.

Loved our Stay at Calm Sea’s Cottage. The accommodation was lovely. Inside the cottage is well maintained and neat. Had all the amenities we required for a comfortable stay. Toys and games were available for our young children as well as a high chair. The location is perfect for exploring Busselton. We were able to walk to the beach and into town each day. Liz was very communicative in the lead up to our stay and provided all the information we needed for our stay and check in. We would stay again. I definitely recommend staying at the Calm Seas Cottage if you’re visiting Busselton.

This place is lovely very roomy for a 5 bedroom, Nicely set out. Nice outdoor space. Walkable to a beach. A little too far to walk to town. I’m sure it’s doable tho. But an easy drive. I’m sure it would be a great place for a longer stay as it has everything you need. A great find.
