Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Windsor and Maidenhead

We received a really warm welcome from the hosts. The beds were nicely clean and made up and were super comfy. Location was in easy walking distance of shops, restaurants, trains and the town centre. The road was quiet and peaceful. Offered plenty of parking and was easily accessible. The hosts communicated well which led to an all round terrific stay.

We had a wonderful long weekend stay at Wargrave with 9 of our family for a 70th birthday celebration. We were met by Jef and Ann, Jack's parents, who were so very friendly and very welcoming. Throughout our stay, Jef was on call to help us should we have any questions (such as when we couldn't work out the television/ microwave 😂) Jack was always responsive to any messages as well even though he was abroad at the time. The house is amazing! Very beautiful with wonderful artwork on the walls and comfortable in the extreme. The open plan kitchen/dining room and lounge meant that everyone felt included in proceedings. The weather that weekend was good so we were able to sit outside in the garden and look over the beautiful surroundings. The bedrooms were fabulous - large, light and airy with very comfortable beds and amazing country views from the windows. Wargrave and Henley are a short drive away and good places to visit and great Thames walks. Thank you Jack and Jef for a fab stay

We had a lovely stay in Ruth's cottage, we have no complaints. The area was central to what we wanted to do and the cottage itself is lovely and cosy. The kitchen was fully equipped and has a dishwasher, which we found a welcome surprise, who wants to wash up on holiday? The bedrooms are comfortable with blackout blinds, we all slept well, but there is a road outside so if you are a light sleeper or have children perhaps the back bedroom would suit them more. We particularly enjoyed using the snug, where a few games of chess were played. There are lots of board games to choose from. This is our first time using an airbandb, we found the whole experience good and we shall use again, but I doubt we will be able to come back to Ruth's cottage as we think it will book up really quickly! The cottage is peaceful and private, as well as being in a beautiful location. Alastair and Vicky are excellent hosts and were most responsive to my requests. Highly recommended.

We felt at home in Tima’s house. She is friendly and responsive. The place was amazing and a very accurate listing. 5 minutes walk to the river and It has a peaceful neighbourhood. We will come back Again.

It was a perfect place to stay for us. We visited to explore Oxford as two families with four young children. There’s a bus stop just outside and a quick ride to Oxford. We went to the story museum and a boat trip in the afternoon. There’s also a very cool cider farm within walking distance that we went to near the house. It was really spacious home for two families and had everything we needed for a lovely stay.

Second time that we've stayed - very nice cottage in the Surrey Hills, handy for walks around Holmwood Common and Fourwents Pond, and Diana is a friendly and helpful host. Recommended, will definitely use again

An excellent property. The location is superb. At the centre of town, close to restaurants, pubs, tea-room, shops - a short walk from Waitrose. Very clean and very nicely set out and furnished. We enjoyed the Agatha Christie theming. Everything was jut as advertised. The door opening mechanism was very convenient. Would happily stay there again.

We really enjoyed our time at Crystal‘s house. The weather was quite chilly and it was nice to come home to a nice warm house each night. We enjoyed having the little sitting room to plan our day and watch a little bit of television before we went to bed. The little shops across the street were very helpful, there’s a pharmacy, several restaurants and small grocery stores that were super convenient. The main action line was very helpful getting us down to all the monuments. Crystal was very helpful in advising us about different things to do and how to get there. Excellent second stay in Pash's lovely, bright apartment. Great location with lots to do locally and easy access to central London. Easy walk to Kew Gardens via Kew Village or along the Thames Path. Having the retail park nearby was a plus.

We feel very lucky to have found this place. Lousie was always very empathetic. Spending Christmas in Wescott was magical. The place is dreamy. I really miss the bed, it was so comfortable!! The bathroom is spectacular. The lake view. I still don't know if it's real or a dream. Grateful and happy. I recommend this place with all my heart!! THANK YOU

James was a fantastic host. He was super friendly and flexible with both check in and check out times. The apartment is stunning and so very homey. It was super easy to find and get inside. We had everything we needed throughout our stay. The kitchen was well equipped. The beds were very comfortable and the beautiful lounge room was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The apartment is peaceful, quiet and perfectly situated within walking distance to Richmond Park, Richmond centre and Richmond station. The lovely bakery, pub and shops literally on the doorstep were amazing. We love everything about Richmond and James’ apartment made our stay absolutely perfect. We hope to return soon.

We recently stayed at this amazing villa for Royal Ascot, and it exceeded all our expectations. The view from the villa was absolutely stunning, offering a picturesque backdrop that made our stay even more special. One of the highlights of our visit was the fantastic BBQ we had. The villa is equipped with everything you could possibly need, making it incredibly convenient and enjoyable. Parking was ample, comfortably accommodating our four large cars without any hassle. Overall, this villa provided the perfect setting for a memorable stay, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a superb getaway.

Susan's place is absolutely lovely. It's a wonderful example of a stylish English home for family or friends reunions. The outdoor space is safe and a wonderful place for children. The house is truly a home and has that warm and inclusive vibe. We will definitely be back.
