Our stay in Bauple, QLD, was a wonderful experience! Nestled in a quiet and picturesque setting, this charming town provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The fresh air, stunning natural scenery, and warm hospitality of the locals made our visit truly memorable. We loved exploring the surrounding area, including the beautiful parks and nature reserves. The history of Bauple, known as the birthplace of the macadamia nut, added an interesting touch to our trip. The peaceful atmosphere made it an ideal spot to relax and unwind. If you’re looking for a hidden gem in Queensland, Bauple is definitely worth a visit. We would love to return and explore even more of what this lovely place has to offer! A special mention to Sean and Sarah’s place—we absolutely loved it! Their hospitality made us feel right at home, and the peaceful surroundings created the perfect retreat. The attention to detail and comfort in their space made our stay even more enjoyable.

This really is the perfect getaway. Zero noise, just the calming ambience of nature.. plus all the amenities and comforts at your fingertips. Little details such as the layout, lighting, quality fixtures and appliances shows how much thought was put into this home. We highly recommend the relaxation massage and facial, and the camel meet n greet with the hosts was so much fun! Stu & Karen are such genuine, entertaining souls to be around.. we regret not booking the campfire cookup to continue the great chats and laughs 😁 Stu & Karen have put their heart into this sanctuary and it shows. They made us feel welcome and really are the perfect hosts, we can't thank you enough!

Leanne and Allen were great hosts. Extremely friendly, great conversationalists and hospitable hosts. The place was clean, tidy and comfortable. Games room was great surprise. Allen has some cool personal stories we enjoyed listening to! ☺️☺️ Would recommend the stay!

We loved our stay at Peter’s Barn. Set in beautiful gardens on top of a hill near Kingaroy it provided comfortable country charm with the added bonus of being only a short drive from shops, restaurants and coffee shops. The gardens are alive with birdlife and the atmosphere is one of peace and tranquility. Our only regret was staying for just one night. This would be a great location for a longer stay where one could unwind and really relax in comfort. We’d love to revisit and do just that.

So wonderful to be back at Anita’s cottage, arrived just in time to help feed the new baby calf which the kids loved, and explored a few more creeks this this being lucky enough to stay an extra night on short notice. thank you will be back

Trena and Steve have put their heart and soul into this place and you can feel it everywhere you look. Probably the most unique and best appointed AirBnb I’ve ever stayed in. You can’t help but relax. Thanks guys. I had a great recharge.

The Hinterland Retreat was a wonderful place to stay, it was very private, great views, relaxing and perfect for our needs. We stayed for a total of 3 1/2 weeks, it felt just like home. Alison and Ben were fantastic hosts, very accommodating with any request we had. We would definitely stay again. We highly recommend the Hinterland Retreat.
