Private, cozy, and welcoming! Sallie's directions made the place easy to find even arriving at night after a day of traveling. And the bed was incredibly comfortable. Everything I could want!

This is a great place to stay in Chattanooga! Perfect for a couples getaway weekend, it’s close to all the lookout mountain activities, and has restaurants very close by if you’d like to walk. It is also less than 10 minutes to drive to downtown Chattanooga for more food/drink/entertainment options. Area is safe and the apartment is comfortable and clean. The parking pad is a little tight, but we fit a sedan and a 1/2 ton pickup truck on it without issue. There seems to be other parking in the area/street if needed too. We did not need anything over our stay, but Greg (the host) seems very responsive and eager to help if it’s needed. I would definitely stay here again.

Joy was an amazing host. She is very friendly and responsive. The listing was amazing. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean. It accommodated everyone in our group. The kitchen was very clean and with newer appliances. The apartment was very easy to find and plenty of parking.

While we didn't met Rachel we were greeted by Tom, the manager, and he was friendly and easy to get along with. During our stay we made a couple of requests and they were handled immediately. The building is old & quirky and a work in progress but the rooms are beautifully furnished and have all the creature comforts ( we got a tour !). Rachel and Tom are community minded and are working towards making Franklin House a vital part of the Cowan community. If you love small town adventures this is the perfect place to go ! We had a great time !

This was our third stay, and it has been satisfying to see the investments made in the property over time. First there was the addition of outdoor amenities like a picnic table, grill, and lights. This time we noticed upgrades like a new mattress, TV, and coffee table. The hosts were super responsive, too, when something came up. We look forward to seeing what’s next!

great clean place to stay!

For this stay I traveled with my elderly parents to visit my children at nearby Covenant College. The location was ideal, only minutes from the college. My mother is legally blind, and she appreciated the brightness of the house and the lights. My father has mobility limitations; he walks with a walker. He had absolutely no problem getting into the house and navigating inside. The sturdy chairs with arms were a major plus. The place was immaculate and the host thought of every detail. There were several options for coffee and tea, a filled Brita filter in the refrigerator, and detergent pods in the laundry room. Those extra touches really made our stay convenient. The rooms are well apportioned and the beds are extremely comfortable. In short, the place is ideal. I highly recommend this Airbnb.

Nice house in a convenient location within Shelbyville. It was easy to find, in a quiet neighborhood and was comfortable for our stay. I would stay here again in the future.

We stayed here with our dogs and had a great time. It's located close to downtown but far enough away that there isn't tons of traffic. The fenced in yard is very secure it even kept my escape artist in. The house was very clean and cozy. We enjoyed listening to the rain and relaxing on the couch!

This place had a million dollar view for just pennies. It was clean, easy to access and convenient. Very, very impressive and we would love to return!

I had an incredible stay at this beautiful house on the bluff! The view was simply breathtaking, especially at sunset, when the entire horizon turned into a spectacular display of colors. The kitchen was fantastic—spacious and fully stocked with everything we needed. Cooking here was a joy, with plenty of counter space and high-quality appliances. It truly felt like a home away from home, with every detail thoughtfully designed for comfort. One of my favorite parts was the cozy sunroom, where I enjoyed my morning coffee while listening to the birds. The natural light and peaceful atmosphere were the perfect start to each day. Plus, being so close to Chattanooga and Cloudland Canyon State Park was a huge bonus! We could easily explore the city and enjoy all the attractions, dining, and shopping it has to offer before retreating to the serenity of the bluff.

This house was a wonderful respite for our family with all the amenities you expect but enough warm water for all guests to shower each day. They had explained that they were on a well but the water pressure was not enough to push the water thru the pipes. This needs to be addressed for the comfort of their guests. Everything else was amazing. Hope the water is a doable fix for them.

I stayed at Mark and Meredith place, it was clean, private, peaceful and they were very helpful too, I would stay again
